Sunset Cabin - your private romantic hideaway

This is not a private location. It is near woods. But you are within a few hundred feed from other renters and dogs. The listing pictures and description makes it seem that you are well away from anyone. This is not accurate. We had a good time but you cannot have off leash dogs at any time and with a small cabin I was really looking forward to outside off leash time for my demo dog who needs a vacation too.

Absolutely beautiful property! Perfect for a weekend getaway. The hiking trails were great and well maintained. Our dog also had a blast and loved the trails and watching the fish.

Absolutely beautiful setting! So cozy. Wish the refrigerator was larger, but we were only there for a few days so everything went well. Would definitely come back again.

Sunset cabin is a cute little place packed with amenities and located on the beautiful grounds of a private home. While not per say excluded it sure felt that way being surrounded by woods on three sides. Our stay was only two nights but we managed to cook a proper meal for one of those in the well appointed kitchen. There’s a great little butcher/market/cafe nearby where you can find everything you need. Sondra and Daniel’s description and photos of the place are spot on but seeing and experiencing this little bit of paradise is the way to go. And our dog loved it so much he didn’t want to leave.

I stayed here with my pup for a couple of nights. This visit capped off a busy couple of weeks for us—and it was the perfect place to unwind before getting back to real life! The property is beautiful, secluded (but not too secluded), and the cabin is stocked with anything you’d need, and was very clean. I would love to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay with our 2 dogs at Sunset Cabin. The cabin has privacy and is close to two lovely ponds. We enjoyed the walking trails on the property. There are 2 Adirondack chairs near the cabin, we were able to sit and relax with our dogs and enjoy a drink. Cabin is cozy and includes snacks and some basic items. The bed is very comfortable. We were able to communicate with the hosts and they are easy to work with. The view from the cabin is lovely. We will be back.

The property is located on a beautiful piece of land at the edge of the woods. The cabin is secluded and quaint, peaceful and welcoming. Walk out the door to a hammock to read, or stack the firewood at the pit fire, either way, you will feel the weight of the world slip off your shoulders as your body and mind say thank you for finding this place. The trails on the property ask you walk them and there are so many choices to try. A very healing place. And the cabin is beautiful and simplistic, providing snacks and modern amenities that make your stay even better.

The cabin was really adorable and well stocked with practically everything you need to have a great little get away. Snacks, wifi, kitchen ware, etc just brought food, fames, and toiletries. Was really close to the kayaking, hike on Mt. Ascutney, and stone leaf dispensary. Was great to have a little fire in the provided fire pit and the trout ponds were adorable you can feed the trout and see lots of frogs/toads
