We’re sure you’ll never tire of those views but when the sun sets there’s a 32” Freeview TV and DVD player to while away your evening’s, or it’s just a couple of minutes stroll into the heart of Shanklin with its pubs and restaurants. When it’s time for bed there’s a double and twin bedroom for you to snuggle down in for the night.

Shanklin is a great place to holiday whatever the British weather throws at you. Visit Shanklin theatre or take a stroll through Shanklin Chine, a wooded gorge with fabulous waterfalls. For younger visitors Sandown Zoo will go down a treat, as will Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf.

    Although it was October, the apartment was nice and warm. The lounge and kitchen areas were perfect for our needs, we loved looking out at the sunrises and the sea. Very useful to have our own parking place. The kitchen facilities were good, it was clean and very pleasant to stay there. Good places to eat within easy walking distance, it was a perfect base for exploring the Isle of Wight.

    Short stay but enjoyed our stay.Four flights of stairs so only suitable if fit. We struggled as have bad legs/knees.Apartment very roomy andcosy. Not very well equipped if you want to cook meals.NO WASHING MACHINE!Good job I didn't need one.One of the most cleanest apartment we have stayed in over the many years we have visited the Island.

    On arrival we found milk in the fridge, and biscuits on the table which was a nice touch. There was emergency contact details on the fridge, and wifi details. Well appointed property, close to Shanklin Chine, beach, amusements, restaurants, chippy and crazy golf. The property was very clean, (and this is from someone who is OCD about cleanliness), and well equipped. If I was to suggest one improvement, it would be useful to have a top cupboard in the kitchen for food storage. The only downside to this property is that it is an upstairs flat and there isn't a lift. So wouldn't recommend for anyone with severe mobility issues, everyone else I would say, go for it.

    We had a great 4 nights stay in this lovely, spacious apartment this December. The views and location are superb too. Previous reviewers mentioned that the kitchen/dinner area was quitee poorly lit and there was a lack of hooks for towels etc in bathroom/bedrooms, Id agree with both these but would definitely book to stay again since overall stay was great.     This is a brilliant apartment. We booked it at very short notice, the sea view being the main draw. It certainly delivered and we spent hours looking out of the balcony windows and even standing outside, enjoying the whole thing of being by the seaside. The living space has everything you want. The two sofas are comfortable. Kitchen equipment is more than adequate ( we did find the kitchen corner to be a bit dark but one of the bedside lamps helped here). The beds are fine and the bathroom is excellent. We appreciated having full control over the efficient heating system, (something which is not always the case in holiday properties). The parking place is easy to access and essential here for much of the year. The apartment is in a block of 5. The hallway and stairway are nicely decorated and set the tone for the apartment itself.
