Stayed Jul 11, 2022Absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the Old Stable which was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The owners, Dan and Bec were fantastic, friendly and very helpful with a great knowledge of places to go and eat. The pool was absolutely perfect, set in a beautifully maintained garden. We will definitely return. We highly recommend Lyon Court as a great location and holiday in the Isle of Wight.

Stayed Sep 3, 2020Loved our experience.Would loved to have stayed longer & made use of the heated swimming pool. Hopefully the hot tub will be available next time,Covid permitting.

Stayed Aug 17, 2020We had a wonderful time in the stable which had a lovely rustic french chalet feel to it. Well equipped and spotless inside with a comfy large bed and peaceful surroundings. The pool was delightful in the afternoon after a long bike ride. Ideal for cyclists. Would definitely return.

Stayed Jun 16, 2018We found the Old Stables at Lyon Court to be the perfect choice for our 4 night break away from it all. Situated within beautifully wooded and tranquil grounds, we enjoyed swimming in the heated, crystal clear pool. Nearby is a delightful Wendy House that any child would find irresistible. Along with our cosy, bijou accommodation, we had our own hot tub to relax in. The hosts were extremely kind and hospitable, even going to the lengths of providing a birthday cake, balloon and a special rendition of Happy Birthday! We would highly recommend staying at Lyon Court, Shanklin and look forward to returning to this very special place.
