The large porch facing the stunning mountain view allowed us to watch a sunset every evening. The kitchen is stocked pretty well. Very private. Stocked with movies, books and puzzles. But the Hot tub was in an amazing location and very well needed after all of our hiking. The owner was so helpful and kind. The Hot tub was stuck on 98 degrees and wasn't hot enough. The instructions on how to increase the temp was on the wall and we followed them to the T but it would not increase so we got out of it after 15 minutes or so. There was a window in the living room that didn't lock. The recliner is broken. All was communicated with the owner. And he was appreciative of the communication.

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. It was very clean and a wonderful view. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The hot tub was amazing! Definitely recommend this place!

Very beautiful view!! The mountain road to go up to the cabin is an adventure of its own. The incline and sharp turns was a bit sketchy with our long bed, crew cab Chevy 3500, had to do a couple 2 point turns but it was manageable after our 2 trip down to the valley. We had the pleasure to arrive as the last cold front came through and watched the first snowflake fall then watch it fall all night. It was truly beautiful, amazing, and magical as a never-seen-snow Floridian, to play in the snow the next day with the kids and this snow balls was the icing on the cake. The location is central to a lot of attractions like waterfalls and look out spots. In March, Maggie Valley is kinda a ghost town with most stores being closed for season which was fine. Waynesville is very close to get supplies like groceries at Publix and Walmart or a bite to eat. The host was very informative when I questioned about the freeze we were going to expect the first couple nights of our stay. The hot was fun, even when it was freezing. We will book again and recommend to others.

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was so cozy and close to everything but with just enough privacy. The hot tub was a plus, with scenic views overlooking the valley. We had a grill for cooking out, a fire pit for time around the fire cooking s’mores, and rocking chairs on the front porch to enjoy the morning sunrise! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

The view from the hot tub and porch, as well as the view from inside looking out the front windows was absolutely stunning!!!! The host was very easy to contact with any questions. The only reason for not doing 5 stars is because the decking area that holds the hot tub was very unlevel. Still would recommend this place!

Loaction was beautiful and the view from the hot tub was wonderful! Cabin was very clean absolutely not complaints there! Owners were very helpful and responded quickly, we were able to check in a little early. My only complaint would be the master bed could use an upgrade... other than this excellent place to stay!

This cabin was perfect for a few days. Everything worked properly and the cabin was clean. The hot tub was just what we needed. The view was worth every penny. Nice amount of starter products such as soap, dish soap, paper towels, etc. I never had to get rid of my trash ourselves at cabins and for those checking out on Sundays the dump is closed. You are expected to leave an extra fee for them to take it for you. The host was quick to respond.

STUNNING VIEW!! I took my wife of 43 years high school sweethearts here for the romantic view/hot tub, relive memories of the Great Smoky Mountains with our families, enjoy our dog Sunny, sit on the porch all day long/enjoy each other with no one else around, take peaceful walks together there.....it was all that and more!!On the way there we visited Soco Falls/parkway milestones and on way home Pretty Place Chapel and other falls.SECLUDED WITH GORGEOUS EVERCHANGING VIEW!! This was actually our 2nd stay at the property. Liked it so much the first time we came back for our Anniversary. Gorgeous views and well equipped for anything you'd want to do in the house. Weather was foggy most of the time we were there this time, but even that had it's own charm over the mountains and down into the valleys.

We've never explored the Smokey Mt area and this was the perfect spot to do so!!!Eric was very accommodating as was the rustic cabin feel, and all the amenities. The view was spectacular, especially from the hot tub, and the entire deck. I think we spent more time on the deck, when not enjoying the town and everything around it, then inside!!!Very comfortable, well appointed and the privacy was just like being in the woods by yourself. We will definitely be back!!!Thanks Eric & Stacy

The property was very old, dated and worn as was all the furniture. We've stayed in Maggie Valley about 10 times over the last 4 years so have an appreciation for what other properties are like. The view was great but everything else was well below expectations.

The perfect cozy cabin. We felt right at home and the view was amazing. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. The way they maintain and care for the cabin felt just like it would if we were to have called it our home. Really can’t say enough nice things. Thank you for a peaceful and easy place!

The property was beautiful; it had picturesque views. Sunset was particularly beautiful when there wasn't cloud cover. The cabin had was well stocked with all of the appliances a typical person would have at home. The beds were comfortable. It was easy to drive to and from the Smoky Mountains Park. We were a bit uncomfortable with navigating the switchbacks, particularly at night, but we managed. It helped to have jeep to climb the steep inclines and it handled the descent nicely. The host provided great directions to help us find the cabin. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

We have a great extended weekend at the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub each day of our stay. The view is amazing. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt. The cabin was as expected. The switchbacks up to the cabin were a bit much for me but thankfully the hubby had no issue driving on them. The location was perfect for our plans to do some hiking. The town of Maggie Valley had much more food options for me than I expected! The mom and pop Organic Coffee Shop was our favorite… they have fresh gluten free bakery!

We booked this cabin for a week long Thanksgiving getaway. The property was beautiful and quiet. Hot tub views are amazing at sunset. We burned an outdoor fire almost every night. The house itself is older but is perfect for a small group. We brought our pup with us and he enjoyed laying by the fire in the living room. Highly recommend this property for a nice break.

We were in the cabin when hurricane Helene was approaching the U.S.; so had to cut our stay short. Eric and Stacy reimbursed us out missed nights....their idea...that is the kind of people they are....good. Know before you go (not in property description): 1. There are speed bumps in the road on the way up (just ticked me off) 2. The fireplace is GAS. 3. The den furniture is so comfy! 4. The new mattresses are FIRM. 5. The most peaceful place we've ever stayed in Maggie Valley. 6. Absolute bliss on the covered porch. The rockers are so nice. We take seat cushions on trips and it made sitting and rocking a memorable part of our vacation.

First and foremost, the view was phenomenal! We absolutely LOVE the mountains and having a spectacular view only adds to making our vacation even better! Eric was quick to respond when we had any questions. The cabin was very well stocked; the only thing we had to get was our groceries for the week we were there. I absolutely did NOT want to leave, but as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.

When we went looking for a rustic cabin in WNC, this gem really stuck out especially because of the stunning views of Maggie Valley and surrounding mountains. Honestly, I think we spent most of the time on the front porch taking it all in. They had a big beautiful picture window in the living room with a super comfy couch and two club chairs, perfect for bringing the outside in. The gas fireplace was so easy to operate, which was perfect because the nights were kind of chilly (even in August!). We enjoyed the cabin so much, one day we didn't even leave. I sure appreciate that they accept pets, as our little Jack Russell Terrier, Abby, LOVED IT! We will definitely stay again in this romantic getaway in the heart of the mountains of WNC.
