Storybook Cottage in the Heart of the Big Horn Mountains

The property was everything we invisioned. The communication with the host was excellent.The cabin and running creek surrounded by tall pines was ideal.

What a beautiful restful cabin in the woods. Everything we could need was there. The cabin was like a timelock. It was just perfect.

Great hiking maps available and was made aware about the polo tournament happening.

Nice quaint cabin and stream to get away

The cabin is unique and historic as well as peaceful with just the water racing past. We got a little lost on the dirt road but they came and assured us we were in the right place. I would definitely stay here again.

First and foremost, five stars for the cabin and location. I have no complaints. The cabin has everything we needed to have a great stay. Check in and out was seamless and easy. The location is beautiful with a creek flowing nearby.A few things to note. There is a house nearby within sight of the cabin. The cabin host has taken some steps to increase the privacy with landscape fencing. We were there for four nights and actually never saw anyone else. The other thing is that while we were there, the creek with the walking bridge over it in front of the cabin was dried up. No big deal for us as there is another creek 100 yards behind the cabin.Overall, no complaints about the cabin or property. We would definitely stay there again!

Awesome setting in the woods. Very unique and one that while not fit everyone was perfect for us.

We had stayed in 2020 and liked the location and set up.

We were just looking for a place for a quick getaway, this cabin was absolutely perfect. We grilled outside for dinner abd breakfast, had a fire going in the firepit. Was clean, private and exactly as listed. Thank you for a wonderful little memory

Pictures don't do this cabin justice. It's like staying in the Enchanted forest, peaceful, absolutely breathtakingly beautiful.The host Marilyn and her son Chris were more than responsive in their communication and made everything a breeze.Didn't want to leave, will definitely be returning hopefully sooner than later.

Lovely, rustic getaway and a perfect staging area for a number of sites in the area. Medicine Wheel Nat’l Historic Monument The Brinton Museum Fort Kearny and the Fetterman Massacre-to name a few!

Had an amazing stay. It really is a storybook cabin. Peaceful and tranquil surroundings. Property owners were friendly and responsive.

It’s an authentic little mid-1900’s cabin located in the backwoods of one of wyomings best hidey-hole towns. It has every amenity you could really need, but there’s nothing fancy. That’s the charm - It’s perfectly fitting to its surroundings. Drinking coffee in front of the creek was an absolute treat. Only thing I have to mention is that there was a single, very bold, little mouse. Though it doesn’t bug me, it could freak others out. (Just keep your stuff off the floor. You’re staying in a vintage guest cabin in the hills of wyoming, people - what do you expect? ?) He’s there to clean up the crumbs after you make your breakfast - we named him Esteban.

My family enjoyed staying in this cabin. It was clean, the property owner was responsive and the area was absolutely gorgeous. We would stay again.

Loved our stay here! Quiet area with sounds of the nearby creek and water rushing. Perfect place to get away and stay while enjoying the Big Horn Mountains.

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin and had a wonderful time adventuring in the Big Horns. Sheridan downtown is a quick drive and was very nice.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed this cozy, rustic cabin with so much family history & character! The setting surrounded by tall trees and running creek was peaceful and a great home base to explore the Bighorns. Friendly, responsive hosts and we felt very welcome. Hope to return again!

The property was a perfect retreat in the woods. We loved the wood fireplace and all the amenities of the house. The owners were friendly and when we had trouble with the hot water, they had no problem coming over and showing us what we were doing wrong. ?
