The stay was excellent. The cabin was clean, and had everything we needed and then some. Held everyone comfortable, with enough silverware and kitchenware for everyone.

What an incredible trip! This property is in such an amazing location. It's 4 miles from Stanley so you're close to restaurants, groceries, and gas but it's unbelievably peaceful and the views are second to none! In our time there we had antelope in the field all but one day with heard sizes of 8-25. We had a badger that waked across the end of the driveway, and one evening we had a heard of over 50 elk in the field off to the right side. Perfect spot for star gazing and very convenient for hikes in the Sawtooths and activities at local lakes. Will stay here again for sure, this property had everything and more than we ever could have needed or expected. Fantastic working with the host as well, very professional experience! I there were 10 stars available that'd be our rating!!!

Our stay in Stanley was incredible-- we're so thankful to have had such a spacious home to stretch out in and enjoy the mountain views. Rachel was quick with communications, leaky sink was fixed while we were still there, and checkin/checkout was easy. We had a June snowstorm early in our trip that melted into a warm second half. Absolutely beautiful. Be on the lookout for the badger friend that resides in the little hills along the driveway. He put on a show a few times hunting in the meadow out front. Would highly recommend this vacation home.

Our family stayed for 5 nights. We loved every moment. The views are beautiful. We saw lots of wild life. A badger walked across the front yard. Spotted a pronghorn on hill behind the house. Lots of birds. We will definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay. House is very clean and has everything you need. Our daughter loved all the toys, books, and loft bed.

We truly enjoyed this home in Stanley. We fell in love with the area, mainly due to the beauty and serenity of the accommodations. The kitchen was well appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. When we weren’t exploring, we all wanted to sit in front of the windows and enjoy the view. The house was perfect for what we wanted for our vacation. Rachel was helpful at answering all my questions beforehand. The house was a great place to disconnect and relax. We highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Just an amazing place…we got there in the pitch dark and were stunned when we woke to the spectacular view. House is perfect place to call home while exploring the sawtooths equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook or just relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was so helpful and easy to reach. We came as a small group of friends who like to backpack and hike together but we all plan on coming back with our families so they can have the experience as well. Thank you for a wonderful time.

WOW!! The Sawtooths at their best is not adequate to describe the week we stayed in Custer County at this property. Serene, solitude, breathtaking, ideal, awe-inspiring... just a few adjectives that we used during our stay in this wonderful cabin in Custer County. With Stanley a few minutes drive away, it felt like we were alone with nature on this property. All the modern amenities were available, everything to cook with, do laundry, do nothing, play cards or just soak up the environment from the multiple porches of this property. We were visited by a herd of elk one evening, awakened by the mellow mooing of cattle (if you opened your bedroom window), listened to the gentle winds through the Aspens and Pines and also had a nap or two in the afternoon in the quietness of our cabin. The 3 large front windows framed the Sawtooths perfectly and pictures do not do it justice. The cabin was a perfect jumping off spot, away from everyone, to go fly fishing, hike multiple trails, visit Stanley Lake and Redfish Lake, have meals in Stanley or just drive around and find our secret spots to enjoy to ourselves. Lisa was always available for a short conversation to help guide in any way possible. This was a 50 year reunion of Idaho for three great friends who have been traveling together for many years. This was a unanimous choice for best trip and best accomodations in all those years. The beds were comfortable, water was hot, propane tanks were full and all we had to do was enjoy our trip. And the fishing trip from White Cloud in Stanley was remarkable. Caught plenty of rainbow, cutthroat, bull trout and ran 3 rapids! What more could you expect. If you don't enjoy yourself here, there is something wrong. We were close to town, nature, forests and fauna ( even saw a mountain goat) and had plenty of time to enjoy it all and still unwind. Highly recommend, especially if you want to get out in nature.....it's out your frontdoor. Kudos, LIsa!!!
