SS-Cabin in the Woods-Cumberland Plateau Retreat: Three + nights 75 Dollars off

Summer Shade was amazing! I had everything I needed but the most important thing was the peacefulness of the area. The screened in porch was amazing and I spent quite a bit of time there after returning from my daily adventures to the state parks I visited. Definitely what I needed to recharge and get ready for Season 58 of my life. Wonderful place to spend my annual ME VACAY for my birthday!!

Very comfy cozy!

Not at all secluded. Flanked by other cabins. We arrived Christmas Eve to the sounds of gunshots and a chainsaw, both very close by. The furniture, linens and kitchen supplies are desperately in need of an update. We left after only one night and got a refund without issue, but would not recommend.

Great stay as always. Looking forward to our next visit in the new year.

We loved our visit . The Cumberland plateau retreat was a beautiful place. The staff on site was very helpful and the retreat pet cat Sunny was so sweet . We would love to go back again one day . It was about 15 minutes to fall creek falls . Beautiful drive .

Cabin was clean and welcoming as always. Had a great time. Will be back. Im a frequent flyer.

The host was nice. Cabin was very clean. Only one complaint. Needed new linens such as towels and wash cloths. Also its getting time to upgrade mattresses and livingroom furniture. Had great stay would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful stay we had! The cabin was great - clean, kitchen had everything we needed it was all exactly as described. The perfect spot for a few days to relax and getaway. There were so many beautiful sites and waterfalls to see near by too.

Cozy, cute cabin with nice amenities. Very clean. No dishwasher. Comfortable beds, electric fireplace. We enjoyed our stay and the fact that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom.

The property was very pet friendly, host James and staff are wonderful, house was clean, however a new mattress is needed in the master. We had a lovely visit.

We found bedbugs.Lots of dust and cobwebs all over.Owner refunded our stay.The cabin is nice and location is perfect for Dead Zero gun range so long as they clean better and handle the bedbug situation.Cell signal was weak with Verizon

Nice cabin in a beautiful and peaceful location. Have stayed here many times for getaway weekends. We always enjoy our stays.

My kind of place! Very secluded and rustic! Does need new mattresses, pillows and towels. Everything else was perfect!

it was peace and quite what more do you need

We came in for a family reunion so just needed a quiet place to rest for a few nights. I would have loved to have time to explore all the improvements made to the property since the last time we were here! My kids love the loft bed and all wanted to sleep up there. The cabin was very comfortable for us.

We got to see so many waterfalls nearby! Hiked way too long and went to Cumberland caverns. This was a wonderful spot and Jim is incredible and gave several tips. Thank you a wonderful stay

This was our first time in the area and I’m so glad we stayed here! It was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. The cabin is beautiful and well built. The trails are great for walking the dogs. I wish we had an extra day just to hang out at the lake; it was so peaceful and the gazebo and swings are so inviting! Fall Creek Falls is pretty close and the drive was gorgeous with all the blooming dogwoods. We cooked dinner in the cabin each night and had everything we needed. The screened porch; the fire pit and swings; the front porch chairs; watching a little tv before bed - it was perfect!

This is our 3rd stay here at CPR. Always great. Communication is wonderful. Simple check in and check out. Great location—peaceful place.

The cabin is in a beautiful area. With nice trails to walk and a lake to sit by. Sheryl the manager was very nice. Met us when we arrived and was very attentive. We went in November so I am looking forward to going back in the warmer months to be able to enjoy the outdoors more.and

We have stayed at this cabin several times and always enjoy ourselves. It is such a beautiful area, perfect for a quiet relaxing weekend.

I dont want totally bash this place, we have stayed before and was great! THIS time we had a bed with bed bugs all over. We didn't notice them till the morning after when my son woke up all bit up. It was horrible!

We loved our visit! We were in town doing the Fall Creek Falls triathlon and this was a perfect place to relax before and after. Ample space for the 3 adults that stayed here & our 2 dogs. We loved the screened in porch & walking trail around the lake.

Cabin was in a tucked away, secluded wooden area with about 5 others. It has a screened in porch for gaming, eating, reading, napping, or relaxing. There was plenty of acreage to walk/hike on as well as a lake. In addition, it is only about 7 miles to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Very quiet, peaceful stay for us.

We enjoyed our stay here. We were there for 3 days and would have loved to stay longer. The outdoor porch was relaxing as well as the pond and outdoor sitting areas with the fire pit. So peaceful!
