Welcome to the most beautiful mountain getaway in Western NC, nestled 35 minutes from Asheville. There is truly something for everyone here.

Stargazing is amazing. So amazing in fact that we are leaning into that theme by providing a serious telescope and accessories so you can sit outside and gaze at the heavens like you don't have the time to do at home. Sit by the fire pit in Adirondack chairs, have s’mores, and see shooting stars every few minutes.

From the decks, enjoy remarkable sunset views of Slickrock, Rocky Knob, High Peak, and other striking mountains with a peaceful valley below. Relax in a brand new oversized hot tub overlooking the mountains. Enjoy the game room with ping pong, arcade, shuffleboard and bar.

Want to bring your furry friend (we mean your pet of course) We have tried to provide you the things that make it easier to travel with an animal but that are difficult to pack such as a large dog sized crate inside the home, and a heavy duty doggie zip line running across the property so your pet can be safe and secure while you explore. Burnsville and Asheville are so pet friendly that you could even take your animal out to eat with you to many restaurants. We ask that you keep your pet on the bottom floor of the home for the comfort of our guests with pet allergies so that this home can have the best of both worlds for your entire group.

Countless activities from hiking to kayaking, stargazing, dining out, and shopping.

The Space:
Get amazing rest on three luxury, pillow-top king-sized beds with luxury pillows and linens. The fourth bedroom has two comfortable bunk beds with full-sized bottom and twin top bunks, suitable for adults too..

White noise machines and blackout shades are in every bedroom. Three spacious and well-appointed bathrooms keep everyone comfortable. Forgot your phone charger There’s one in every room :)

Ridgeview’s open living room features a gas fireplace and gorgeous views from the oversized luxury sofa with double-wide chaise.

The kitchen is stocked for hosting, cooking, and baking. Cookie sheets, cutting boards, serving dishes, sharp knives, stand-up mixer, blender, toaster oven, ice maker, and a big gas grill on the deck.

The game room features a new arcade game plus shuffleboard, a ping pong table and an acoustic guitar. There's also a bar with a mini-fridge and glasses, cocktail tools and supplies.

Five new smart TVs feature all streaming services with lightning fast wifi from our top-of-the-line router. New washer and dryer are in the basement.

We are parents ourselves, so our home is kid and baby friendly. Included supplies are: toys, books, pack n' play, noise makers, booster seats, baby gate, and kid plates, cups and cutlery.
Guest access
You will have the entire mountain house to yourself with a keyless lock.

We had an amazing weekend in this house! It was by far the best rental experience we’ve ever had. The house is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly well-equipped — it has absolutely everything you might need. The kitchen has all the essentials for cooking, the beds are super comfortable, and the outdoor jacuzzi with mountain views was just perfect. The location is stunning, easy to find, and very peaceful. The host was wonderful - quick to respond and very friendly. We truly enjoyed every minute and will definitely recommend this place to our friends!

We stayed here for a group trip and absolutely loved it. The house was perfect for families — even with a toddler in tow, everything felt easy and comfortable. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout, from the sound machines in every room to the QR code instructions that made settling in simple. Communication with the host was quick and helpful, and the check-out process couldn’t have been easier. One of our group’s favorite parts of the stay was relaxing on the porch and taking in the beautiful mountain views. It’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome here, and we really appreciated that. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed staying in your home. The only thing that we would suggest is the road to get to the house needs maintenance. Overall, I highly recommend for a family getaway!

Eight woman aged 50-63 together for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday. We were family--blood and chosen and had known each other for between 17 & 56 years. We talked, laughed, cried, reminisced and re-energized and it was empowering and healing and the location and house gave us the space to do all of that. The house lacked for absolutely nothing and the views were spectacular. It was easy just to sit and be when that time was needed. But it was equally easy to laugh and celebrate when the time came. Found a fabulous short hike and waterfall nearby, and visited the much revered Penland School of Craft both of which were a very short drive away. We asked for a recommendation for a place that would cater dinner and ended up choosing a local chef who did a 3 course meal at the house for our Saturday evening celebratory dinner. The chef and the server were pleasant, unobtrusive and truly well versed in their trade. The food was impeccable in taste and presentation. I found her prices to be very reasonable as well. All in all I would stay here again; I think it would be fun with a multi generational family group as well. The only thing I didn't get to do was lay in the hammock with a good book; guess I'll have to book another stay.
