Spacious, dog-friendly A-frame cabin with a furnished deck, gas fireplace, & AC

The house provided everything we needed. Adequate sleep space for our group of seven in a picturesque setting. We had a great weekend with family.

The cabin itself is really nice. The location is good and access was easy. A few things in terms of comfort should be addressed as soon as possible. The pillows on all of the beds were completely flat, therefore making them uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillows in the living room area were the same. When we arrived, there was a pile of dirty linens on the washing machine. When I contacted the property manager, she was efficient in getting back to me and handled the issue the next morning which was appreciated. Simple things such as tissues in the bathrooms would have been nice. Overall, the stay was a good one! We had a nice time and with only a few, inexpensive improvements, the cabin would have gotten 5 stars.

Plenty of space for everyone. Amenities were nice. My issues were the hair all over the bedding and towels and toilets, and cobwebs under the stairs and between the downstairs bed and nightstand. And there were spots all over the walls in the bathroom around the sink area that looked like toothpaste splatter? I feel like the stairs could have had more security measures in place for small kids. They can be very dangerous if you’re not careful. They seemed to have some kind of fabric tie thing but one was broke and the other didn’t seem to have all the pieces? The swing on the deck was extremely stretched out and not useable. No bathtub. Or detachable shower head. I had to give my 2 year old a bath in the kitchen sink. Overall it was fine for what we needed it for which was a place to sleep.

Property was easy to find, clean and well equipped. Didn't spend tha much time in the property but overall very pleased with our stay.

It was a great stay. Just a few things that were wrong.The Roku remote in the living room batteries were dead (no spare).The hot water was not very hot and did not stay hot for very long.

Excellent experience. Cabin was clean and easy to access.

Good. The door handle on the outside of the sliding glass door was missing. That made it hard to close the door from the deck. The dehumidifier was not working efficiently as it seemed humid inside. While we were there the power went out due to lightning. We understand that nature cannot be controlled..

We had a great week at this cabin! Easily accessible just off the valley floor! Clean and perfect for us! The spiral steps can be a little difficult to navigate but not too bad. One bedroom on the main level was convenient.

The cabin is nestled amongst many mature trees. You feel as though you are staying in a treehouse.

This place had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The grill was nice and they had an air fryer we made some French fries in!

I can honestly say we loved everything at the Chalet, every room, every detail, gorgeous view, beautiful setting, the whole area is so lovely.

We arrived on Monday to a clean, comfy house and enjoyed our stay. We did leave a day early due to hurricane Helene coming through Thursday night.

Beautiful house nested in quiet setting with a beautiful view. The house was well furnished with any supplies you might need.

The Chalet at Peeks Creek was beautiful and in a nice secluded location not far from the main road. 10 min. to downtown Frankiln, grocery store, waterfalls and gem mines. It had a warm cozy feel from the second we arrived that lasted until we left. Would have stayed longer and will do so next time.

The house was great. 9 minutes to Franklin and 21 minutes to Highlands. Several waterfalls between house and Highlands. The view from front porch was great. There are two streams accessible by short walks. My dog and I enjoyed the wild turkeys that we saw in the mornings. The spiral staircases were a little tight. The one to the basement bedroom and bath were tight, but there is an entrance from outside. It made walking the dog and carrying in luggage easier. You would not know you were in the basement. Windows everywhere. The master is on the maintenance floor and twin beds in the stand up loft. Save those for the kids. Grill was great. Very quiet and no car noises when sitting outside.

We really enjoyed the chalet! It was very clean, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the deck overlooking the forest and mountains was really pleasant. We felt very comfortable, during our two week stay. The only suggestion for improvement would be adding a handle to the outside of the slider, to make it less difficult to open.

We liked that it was remote, yet an easy drive to Dry Falls and the Highlands. Very nice chalet!

So clean, so easy, charming A-frame, spectacular view, beautiful creek we could see and hear, perfectly equipped kitchen, every detail we needed was supplied, private location in a gorgeous setting, directions were easy, sitting on the deck/porch with the provided blankets and the view, comfortable beds, well thought out details in every way. Quiet and peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great home, if you prefer larger towels and additional wash clothes, bring your own. However, they do have a washer and dryer. I just didn’t want to spend vacation doing laundry. ? We loved the area, very quiet and everyone we encountered was kind. The three stories made it fun for our child. Thanks for a great week in WNC!

We wanted to experience Highlands and the surrounding areas on a budget. This Chalet allowed us to afford our stay and was also perfectly placed along the road to and from Highlands for hikes, waterfalls, and fishing. We will be back to Peek's Creek very soon!

This property was so peaceful!! From the well maintained property to the amazing location, this place was absolutely stunning and exactly what we needed. We’ll definitely be booking again!!

Beautiful home in a very private scenic setting. The home was spotless and well appointed Very nice wrap around deck with beautiful views.

Great little place to stay! Quiet.... cozy. Clean. Comfy. No complaints at all... looking forward to returning!
