Spacious Barlow Trail Lodge, 2 fireplaces, media room, hot tub

This could be an amazing stay, but it falls short due to a lack of maintenance. The space is terrific, and the manager was prompt when the heat on the main floor wasn't working. But someone needs to go through the place and try to exist there to take care of the many minor issues: lots of light bulbs out, living room carpet not vacuumed, grill in terrible shape, broken lampshade in a bedroom, arcade game joystick broken (which was a real bummer), dirty dishes in the cabinet. For the cost of the rental, we expected it to be less rough around the edges.

Very nice stay. Lots of room for six people.

The house was nice, but the water heater only stands 3 or 4 showers and then the water is ice cold. All the water smells like rotten eggs (probably not a problem they can fix with the water supply). We gathered for a political function, too many people showed up to strategize the second night and the property managers threatened to evict us for the meet up the very next morning. Sent me into a panic attack and i left. Only bring 4 cars or else. The 4 car thing is real. Even though this property sleeps 10, don't bring more than 4 cars to stay there. Or you will be threatened to be removed from the property. It was probably the most stressful trip of my life, i will never go to Mt. Hood ever again because of this stay.

This is a beautiful home and is located in a beautiful area. The only hiccup was that we got in late, and I hadn’t gotten info on how to get in to the property. Had to speak to VRBO people as the property manager didn’t answer or return my call. We finally got in after about 20 min, but were a little worried! Come to find out, the property manager sent an email that went to my junk mail, so I never saw it. I feel this could be corrected easily if they would respond through the VRBO app. We did however truly enjoy our stay! Very large and comfortable home.

Plenty of space to spread around house during family vacation (10 family members) ages 16-80 years. Wish we had stayed an extra day just to enjoy more of the house. The younger crowd enjoyed the basement rec room watching movies and playing games in the late evening. The older ones had main floor all to themselves. The two bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the main floor were quite convenient for those who couldn’t walk upstairs to the loft and master bedroom or down to the basement bedroom and rec rooms. The house is more spectacular in person. The beautiful kitchen and wrap around porch were favorites also. There are (4) full bathrooms in the home- (2) on main floor, (1) upstairs with laundry, and (1) in the basement. The main floor also has a laundry room. We were able to visit Mt Hood area lakes easily as well as drive to waterfalls (1h to 1.5h away). There is a corner store about 3.5 miles away that has a little bit of everything in case you need forget anything. They also have live bait and can issue fishing licenses.

Great cabin with lots of space and amenities for large groups. Stayed here with 9 guys for a weekend and had a blast!

Very nice home for our 4 children and 4 grands.Decorated for Christmas beautifully.Lots of fun playing hide n seek and games. Clean and spacious .Love the windows and skylights.Enjoyed warmth of fireplace.

The house was great. Wonderful for a family Christmas celebration. There were number of remotes without batteries and we had some challenges with Roku and streaming

Wonderful spaces. The exterior steps and steps in the garage need a handrail for safety and assistance. The bathtubs need grab bars for safety and assistance. the step for in and out is large, it is easy to slip when stepping and the soap causes the tub floor to be extremely slippery. More comprehensive tv operation and selection of input would be helpful. Update the grilling utensils and cleaning brushes.

Great House. Just as advertised. An issue with the AC, but the cooler weather helped.

This property was gorgeous. Home was beautiful. A couple things were broken when we arrived and we bummed there wasnt a single extra blanket in the whole house. Ive never experienced that and everyone was cold so we had to build fires (which meant going and buyinf firewood a lot) but still it was wonderful overall. Would return- with firewood and our own blankets. :)
