Beautiful home in the perfect setting. The cabin was spotlessly clean, comfy and well-stocked. Host is so kind and wonderful to work with. Loved our stay and will return to this peaceful setting.

Beautifully decorated with vintage items and lovely antiques. A view of the creek from the windows is a great way to start the morning, too.

Serene setting in very accessible location. Short drive to West Jefferson, Boone and surrounding attractions. Place is very well equipped and as cozy as it gets (especially with a fire going). Kathe was a great host and made sure that everything was in order and that we were comfortable. Perfect setting for a family stay. We will be back.

Great cabin that was exactly as advertised. The location is private and very peaceful, perfect for a low-key relaxing get away. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. The host made the check-in process very simple and placed lots of helpful notes throughout the cabin.

Perfect getaway - the cabin is easily accessible but feels like it’s away from everything. Quiet, except for the beautiful creek and occasional car. The cabin is well-equipped with everything you might need and everything you didn’t know you needed. Exceptionally clean and beautifully appointed. I have not felt so relaxed as I was while at the cabin.

Beautiful landscaped yard with a creek that you can listen to while sitting on the cozy porch. Enjoyed visiting with the chipmunks, birds, hummingbirds and a huge blue heron flew by me on the porch. We felt incredibly relaxed during our visit. Home is cozy, beautifully decorated, clean and everything provided for our stay. Will be back!

Sleepy Creek exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful week long family vacation. It was very clean and the beautiful weather was perfect for evenings playing games at the table by the creek. On rainy days, we enjoyed the time on the porch. If staying there during warmer months, it did get warm upstairs and we were running a bunch of fans to cool it off. Kathe was wonderful to work with and helpful during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

It’s perfect for a relaxing stay and it’s as pictured, no surprises. This was the cleanest cabin I’ve rented. I’m very pleased with the experience of this sweet cabin on the creek!

What a gorgeous setting by the creek! The cabin is well-kept, very clean and full of Frontier Charm. Also, Kathe is a most gracious, attentive host. Highly Recommend.

Cabin definitely deserves all the 10/10 ratings it got. I went with my two daughters but it would perfect for a couples romantic getaway.

Fabulous!! Even with All the rain it was so peaceful. The Hosts were very helpful with any and all questions. Great location to get to Boone, Blowing Rock etc.. Lots to do and see or just relax and enjoy the creek.

We absolutely love this place! Our host, Kathe, went out of her way to make us feel welcome and assured that we had an everything we needed. Beautiful, clean home. A secluded cabin in the mountains, a fireplace and rushing creek are our must haves and this one checked every box!

This was by far my favorite cabin I have ever been to. I can not wait to return this spring. I have been to a ton of cabins in NC and different states and this one topped them all.

A family of four + 1 mountain-loving dog had a great time at Sleepy Creek. We spent four nights in the cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin is exquisitely maintained. It is warm and inviting and easy to get to. My family has a tradition of going to the mountains every Thanksgiving and this has been our favorite location by far.

Charming, cozy, comfortable and clean. An absolute delight. The yard is lovely, the porch is a dream, the kitchen has all that is needed to cook a meal. The cabin is nicely furnished and filled with whimsically rustic touches. Loved it!

Sleepy Creek cabin was the perfect place for us to unwind and reset. It has the perfect mixture of seclusion while still being close enough to anything you need or want to explore. Inside and out , the property has thoughtful details making it comfortable with a touch of magical. The music from the creek was the cherry on top. The cabin was perfect. This was our second stay and it was great. The atmosphere is so peaceful. Love the sound of the creek. The cabin is so clean and it has everything you need.

What a beautiful log cabin and setting! We loved it from the moment we saw it through the trees as we drove in, and we were not disappointed when we walked in the door. We loved the rustic, cozy feeling throughout the house and enjoyed sitting on the front porch overlooking the stream. The house was immaculate, well maintained, and well stocked. Highly recommend!
