Great comfortable getaway.

We had a great stay at Skov cabin! Perfect for us and another couple we booked to stay at Calabogie for cross country skiing and hiking. Megan’s ‘resort’ was fully equipped with everything we needed and even came with a surprise gift basket! The living space was very comfortable and all windows were nice and bright yet fully private from neighbours. Hot tub was perfect for late day soaks. My wife and I enjoyed a warm campfire on our last full day. Beds were comfortable too! Megan was very responsive too. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a beautiful relaxing place to stay after a few hours of golf and/or hiking look no further. This cabin has everything you want and more. Enjoying the hot tub with your morning coffee before starting your day was perfect. And ending your day with a sauna or hot tub or both was amazing. Meghan was quick to respond to any questions I had. The cabin has a very luxurious feel and we can’t wait to book again. Well done girls!!

The property was very clean and private. It seemed like it was close to the road and neighbours as you drove in, but the layout and position of the house on the property, made it feel like you were in the middle of the forest all by yourself which for us was awesome. There was lots of outdoor activities nearby where we could enjoy the fall colours, views, and fresh air. The instruction manual was handy and helpful. The house felt warm and welcoming. The sunroom was fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at Skov Cabin. The space is beautiful. The layout allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the kitchen, dining and living room with wrap around windows - such a great experience and incredibly relaxing! Check-in was a breeze. The hosts provide an informative welcome manual prior to check-in. The hosts, Meghan and Dave were readily available during our stay which was greatly appreciated. Skov Cabin would be lovely to stay at regardless of the season. We would stay again and I highly recommend Skive Cabin.

We had a lovely getaway in the woods! There were four of us - two couples. The location is excellent and close to a number of hikes and restaurants and lakes in the area. But you feel like you are away from it all. Loved the hot tub and sauna. Everything in this cabin is clean and new and well cared for. I highly recommend this cabin. I am already thinking of when I'll come back again!

We loved our stay! The place is so beautiful and the hosts have thought of literally everything! It’s a great location, we went out for dinner, golfed, swam at the beach and hiked eagles nest - everything just a couple minutes away! Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

Very nice place. Great location.

Me and three of my best girl friends rented Skov for a two-day girls getaway and had so much fun! We loved that we were able to sit and relax kid-free in the beautifully windowed living room that looks out onto the forest. We didn't wander too far from the cabin because it's just so cozy (we brought snowshoes but never ended up wanting to go out into the cold). Instead we lounged in the hot tub and sauna with a good cup of coffee. The kitchen came perfectly equipped with the Nespresso machine, and all the little things we forgot, like tin foil, oil and spices for our cooking. The little goodie basket was a super cute touch as well- we enjoyed making pancakes together with some local syrup! The place was really clean and cozy, and the beds were really comfy! I loved that we didn't have to bring bathrobes to go out to the hot tub and sauna, it was all included! We'll definitely re-book again sometime soon, it would be an excellent getaway for someone who skis as you can see Calabogie Peeks right outside the window! Thank you Erin and Meghan for an amazing stay!! We'll be back!
