Thank you for considering a stay at Shenandoah Crossing!
PLEASE NOTE: The pictures are of one of the many cabins at the resort. All of the cabins are very similar. They are in different locations within the resort for example: on the water, near the playground, beside the lodge, and many in-between. They assign the cabin the week of check-in.
I enjoyed staying in this cabin for the week. Clean linen, nice privacy, and plenty to do on the property!
This is the perfect place to unplug and get away (with really good WiFi just in case). This small resort had plenty of things to as a family, just the kids, or just the parents. Most of the things are included in the stay (mini-golf, tennis, fishing, swimming, games, life-sized chess, pool, hot tub, camp fire area by the cabin, barns full of animals, short walking trails, fishing…). Other add-ons are worth it - horseback riding, horse and carriage - and when they open for the season - kayaks and paddle boards). Great Communication with the owner - she helped us get activities booked before our trip. Recommend you stop at the grocery store in Gordonsville on the way in (there is a full kitchen and gas grill at the cabin) and the BBQ place there is amazing for a family dinner. There’s a great Tex-Mex place in Orange that is really good as well. Overal - a great stay and we would definitely go back!
