Shellrock Cabin with Columbia River View

What a beautiful space! The sunrises and sunsets here are just spectacular, and the lay of the land and location of the cabin provides the perfect vantage point. The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable, and the amenities provided were a very nice touch. I hope to be back again soon!

Cabin and property were absolutely beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups and everything else. The fridge had some condiments and coffee creamer and the host also left us some waters and snacks along with a welcome card. The small town of Stevenson is a short 5 minute drive with a couple restaurants, grocery store, coffee spots and more. Would highly recommend for couples looking to get out of the city or hustle and bustle of everyday life for a quaint stay and fresh air. We'll definitely be back.

This stay was the best!! Fantastic view, quiet, immaculate and very comfortable. Everything I needed was provided plus extra! Cheese crackers, snacks, coffee. I loved this place and will definitely stay again! I met Craig and he was very personable and pleasant. Love it!

Best rental I’ve ever stayed at! Beautiful view and quiet. Super clean and everything you need right where you expect it do be. I really appreciated the real furniture!! Study and super comfortable bed, nice couch, high quality pillows on the bed. So many rentals buy the cheapest uncomfortable stuff on Amazon and that was not the case here. Amazing place!

Great stay - Check-in/communication was excellent, all facilities were clean, updated and in good working order. View was great - enjoyed meals on the porch looking at the Gorge. Conveniently located near Stevenson shops, etc., but still quiet. Definitely recommend.

We had a nice view of Shellrock Mountain with a glimpse of the river. the cabin next door actually has more of the river view but with less of a view of the mountain. This cabin was in very good condition, clean, well stocked kitchen, nice amenities, comfortable bed, very private, great view, not very far from downtown, and plenty of parking space. We will certainly plan a stay again at this location, although next time we would like to experience the view of the other cabin next door for variety. Each has its own view. In the morning, the mist over the mountain as the sun came up, was beautiful. We had our phone cameras and my nice SLR camera out multiple times. the property owner was very responsive to my questions. We will definitely stay here again.

This was the BEST place we ever stayed with VRBO.Libby the owner and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts constantly staying in touch with us. We had a Wedding in Stevenson and like Libby said we were central to everything and yet secluded amongst the most beautiful scenery you can imagine!! The cabin was extremely clean, with a little porch that was charming. We would stay there again without any reservations. Loved it !!!!

Our host, Libby introduced herself shortly after we checked in. The property was immaculate and well stocked. The mattress was very comfortable enabling a good night sleep. The view of the mountains and the Columbia River are quite lovely and a visit by a herd of elk was a highlight in the early morning. If you walk the field, you quickly discover that elk are frequent visitors. I highly recommend this location to explore the many waterfalls off of Route 30, visiting Mount Hood and the many Orchards on what's known as the fruit loop along the Hood River. We had a delightful time spending two nights on our five week cross country journey from the east coast. I highly recommend this VRBO for couples.

Excellent, very comfortable place to stay. Peaceful location, off the beaten path, yet just a few minutes away from the main highway making it possible to explore the surrounding area along the Columbia River. The hosts set us up for success!

Quiet location, saw an elk in the front yard. Close to a small town that had several good restaurants. I would stay here again.

The view out the front was beautiful!Very comfortable bed.It was very nice to have recliners and a full choice of tv channels after long days of hiking. The welcome basket of snacks was a pleasant surprise too.

This was a perfect place to stay if you are fishing Nd need a safe place to park your boat. The cabin is very charming and cozy.

We enjoyed our stay in Shelrock cabin. They provide so many thoughtful details including snacks and cozy blankets. The cabin is a great location to access all the Gorge has to offer.

We were out in the area for a short time. Cabin was great. Perfect for our needs. Close to many trails and in between 2 towns. Nice view. Hosts were awesome, left us snacks. I would stay again, but it is a small, 3 peeps is too many perfect for 2.

This cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. Extra snacks and water left by the host was an added bonus.

My husband and I had a relaxing stay at the Shellrock Cabin in Stevenson. The location is amazing - convenient to Stevenson, White Salmon/Bingen, Hood River and the valley, Cascade Locks, as well as Camas and Vancouver. It was quiet and peaceful, and the property is exactly as advertised. Libby was helpful and went beyond expectations in accommodating a special request.

This cabin was very well equipped and had great views! It was very convenient for our waterfall tour at the Columbia Gorge. The coupon for a flight of beers at Backwoods Brewing was appreciated and fun. The owner was very responsive to any questions. I highly recommend this rental!

Such a wonderful stay! We LOVED sitting on the porch with our coffee every morning. Such a beautiful view!! The cabin was exceptionally clean, and the bed was comfy. Great place for a mother/ daughter weekend!

The cabin was great. Very clean and comfortable! The view from the porch was just beautiful. The only trouble we had was finding hiking trails and waterfalls. It seems Washington State doesn’t like to use signs. I will recommend this cabin every time. Thanks again.
