Serene, two-story cabin with a game room, washer/dryer, & furnished deck

Beautiful balcony, we enjoyed watching the birds. Comfortable bed well thought out kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay

I wanted to give a 5 star review, however the smell in the upstairs part of the house was so bad that it was nauseating. The house itself was very clean and well kept and very well stocked and had a lot of games. The outside was beautiful and serene except the dog next door does nothing but bark at you the entire time your outside so as beautiful as it is it was almost impossible to enjoy it( I do understand that this is not the owners fault and they have no control over this) The smell was not from “old cabin smell “ I am assuming at one time time there was an animal that urinated in the house “extended amount of time” and it is just in the carpet and pad” as soon as you hit midway up the stairs it about knocks you out. I did go and buy air neutralizer and it did not help at all. As far as the cabin and the location itself was perfect and beautiful, if you can handle the smell it is a fabulous trip.

The Double Decker was perfect for what we needed. My family enjoyed the amenities especially the wrap-around deck. We will definitely book again.

This house was perfect for a family weekend in the Mountains. We really enjoyed the house and the property. The balcony is amazing. The house had everything we needed and it is in a great location. The house had plenty of space to relax. The boys loved the game room and the disc golf hole on the property. I would highly recommend this property and would love to stay their again.

The pluses: the cabin was pretty clean. The carpets could use some attention, and the rugs in the bathroom. There was a nice little game room set up in the garage. The negatives: the age is really showing at this place. Most of the blinds don't work properly so you can't completely close them. The location, while nice, is right off a busy street and the patio faces that busy street, so it got very loud at times. Also, we didn't use the backyard at all because of the neighbor's dogs. There is a fence, but the dogs were big and seemed like they could jump that fence if they wanted to. They would stand just on the other side and bark at us if we were in the backyard. But, the worst part was the beds. They were so hard and uncomfortable, none of us got a good night's sleep while we were there. With the hard beds and the rattling ceiling fans it was a rough two nights.Ultimately a vacation rental is meant to be comfortable, and this one wasn't. I would advise the owners to invest in updating this aging place and getting some more comfortable beds. It wasn't horrible and might be someone else's cup of tea, but we won't be staying again.

The cabin was clean, comfortable and well appointed. An outstanding feature was the wraparound deck on the second floor that gave a feeling of living in a tree house. Only suggestion would be to add a safety rail in the very deep tub/shower combo.
