Serene Sky Valley Family Chalet w/ Fireplace

The place was wonderful. The children loved the loft there were toys and books. My 7 year old Granddaughter said it was the best place she ever stayed. I had to contact the host with a question and he responded right away. I would stay there again. Location was great too.

My grandparents used to own this house over 25 years ago. My family was so happy to return to it for a small weekend reunion and see that the mountain charm was still intact. There is plenty of room to spread out with the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, even 2 kitchens and 2 living areas. The location is quiet and beautiful. My kids had so much fun playing with the toys in the loft area. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay here for our family’s New Years trip. The home was cozy and very accommodating; everything that we needed and more was there to make the stay enjoyable. The presence of God in this home was evident throughout the entire stay. We cooked big family meals each night and enjoyed time each evening by the cozy fireplace. The kids had plenty of room to play and had a blast playing many games of ping pong. We had so much fun at Highland Outpost snow tubing and hiking in the Black Mountain Trails; both being close driving distance. Steve and Marcy was so helpful and kind making sure we knew of the fun events taking place close by and making sure we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Last summer Houston was unbearably hot. My first goal was not to spend an entire summer here again. My son lives in Milton, Georgia, and he suggested the northern part of the state. I discovered this property on VRBO and booked it for a month! It was everything i was looking for and much more. Our entire family (12 ) was comfortably housed, and the cabin was filled with everything you could need. We spent incredible days with our family, golfing, fishing, and just plan bonding at the cabin. Best family vacation ever!

We stayed for a week and loved the cabin! Two fully equipped kitchens, a huge porch, location and the amenities made this a win for our family! The pool, golf course, and playground were less than 3 minutes away! Tallulah Falls, Becky Branch Falls, Tiger Mountain Vineyards, the Dillard House restaurant, Stonewall Creek Vineyards, and 12 spies Vineyard are some great places to visit and are within a 30 minute drive!

Our family spent 11 days in Sky Valley.We enjoyed hiking and discovering the beautiful waterfalls. We explored the same towns. Everyone was very kind and welcoming.Our grand boys played in the creek for hours. Picked wild strawberries and had fun running up and down the grass hills as they played on the playgrounds.We all took advantage of the heated pool, sauna and exercise room! What a view!We made dinners together. The kitchen is stocked with any utensil or pan you may need!We played games and did puzzles around the table. We spent quality time together and grew as a family.During the morning walks I could feel the presence of God as the trees lifted their arms to Him and the birds sang to Him. There is something truly special about this cabin. We are so blessed and forever grateful!

It was perfect.

We had a family gathering here with 2 of our sons and their children. There was plenty of space for everyone although we spent a lot of time outdoors exploring the area. We were able to cook meals for everyone and the washer and dryer came in handy with kids around. The owners responded quickly to any issues that came up.

Our weekend stay in this cabin was a wonderful, peaceful getaway. The owner was so informative and responsive. The cabin was well equipped to enjoy a comfortable stay. The neighborhood was peaceful and we even met the neighbors! Hiking, waterfalls, dining and shopping was just a short drive away. We will definitely be back to visit Sky Valley in the future.
