Such a great location. Enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the deck. Playful otters, bald eagles and salmon. Bed was comfy and the views were awesome.

Great place to relax, unwind and just be!! Sitting right on water watching tide come and go. Be aware of your mobility though - long stairwell getting down to the property and a steep stair inside to get up to bed and bathroom. If you can handle those, this is the place for you!!

This was the most relaxing time. The view and nature watching were incredible as the tide rolled in and out.It was the perfect getaway spot! The new black stone is a nice touch.

prime location the unit could have been better stocked in my opinion. I'm a host and found it to be stripped down. Such an opportunity to make the place an amazing destination! I'm an interior decorator so maybe I expect to much! ?.

This property has everything! The location was terrific with easy access to town, ferry and airport. The amenities included everything we wanted. Being located on the slough provided endless hours of watching the tide ebb and flow, otters swim and eagles fly by. Our hostess was pleasant, efficient and a good source for information

We had an absolutely amazing time at this place. For the price we were blown away by the view and convenience of where it was in town. Would highly recommend and hope to get back here!

It was so much fun staying right on the Slough in Seldovia. We loved it! We brought our bikes on the ferry as there is no need for cars -- and spent the day biking and enjoying the beautiful landscape. This sweet little cottage was just the thing to make our weekend feel special!

Haley is super helpful and friendly. It seems everyone in town is also helpful and friendly! Great getaway to relax. The trip to get to Seldovia is a great part of the experience. Sadly, we had prepared all of our food for the grill, and it was not operational, so be prepared for limited cooking options (a toaster oven), and you will LOVE this cute location right on the water, watching the otters and eagles. I would definitely return, with plans to eat the amazing pizza at Linwood Bar and Grill with the friendly locals. Bingo night at Linwood was a special treat!

Seldovia cannot be real. Just an impossibly charming small cabin in an impossibly charming small town. My wife and I were thrilled, and would absolutely stay here again. We literally watched an otter swim back and forth from our dining room table.

This was a real find for us and we will definitely be back—has everything you need and a gorgeous view to top it all off. Super clean and Haley was extremely helpful—we had a grill issue which turned out to be more user-error than anything but she was super cool about it and offered us alternatives. Like another reviewer suggested, if you buy some groceries before you come it makes it easier—we had a lot of luggage (two coolers, fishing gear, backpacks) and while it took two trips, we managed to just walk it from the ferry. My husband was even offered a ride by a local. Everyone waves and smiles at you. Magical spot. We had a blast and my son caught fish off the deck every chance he could get—caught some pretty nice long nose suckers. It’s great for a couple or a small family with an older kid.

We came for the Seldovia Fly-In and this adorable cabin was only 0.5 mile from the airport. It is close to town and walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Peaceful at night, perfect deck for 2 to sit and have dinner. Loved the mermaid decor and everything about it. Bed was very comfortable and sheets were so soft. Would definitely stay there again.

We have been staying in this cabin for years. It is literally our favorite spot in Alaska. We come to sit and watch the tide go in and out while getting away from it all. A short walk into town for a cocktail or a stroll on the Otterbahn is a big day for us. This year’s trip was made even better by Haley working some magic to solve a camera issue we had. Thanks, Haley!! Pro tip: we stock up at Safeway in Homer before getting on the ferry for breakfast/lunch items that can be managed with the mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven in the cabin.
