Experience Alaska like never before!
*Winter rates are due to our cabins being dry. In Alaska, this means no running water. We provide unlimited mountain spring water and an outhouse, but no shower or flushing toilet. Baña (sauna) and hot tub are also available all winter. Please note the water taxi fee is not included.

What a lovely place to spend a few days, to unplug from distractions. This beautiful cabin located between two beaches was so comfortable and the views were unforgettable. So many things to enjoy, like the hot tub, the sauna, the hammock, swing, kayaks, and the peace and quiet. Looking forward to coming back to experience this unique place again one day!

Awesome trip. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a little family adventure. Great accommodations from pickup to return trip. Even got some orca entertainment on the boat ride back. Thanks Kristi. See you again soon!

An amazing property if you want to experience the real Alaska. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay fun and comfortable. This is not luxury and you are not catered to but if you bring your food (and there is plenty to catch on your own!) you will find everything you need for an amazing experience. DO NOT just book 2 nights as we did, you need at least 2-4 nights to take it all in and enjoy. Thank you Kristi and Locklan for one of the best vacations we have had, if only we stayed longer...

Can't find a more beautiful place to get away from all that usually distracts. The natural setting pops the eye. Kristi is an excellent host. The fresh fish she catches and cleans is for sale and makes for an excellent meal. The cabin feels like a step back in time .. enjoyed that. We happened to be staying during a cold and windy time. A suggestion: improving on the cabin's heating would be a plus. Everyone in the area are just nice and pleasant to speak to. A stay in Between Beaches is pretty close to perfect.

Our stay at the fisherman’s cabin was amazing! We had everything we needed. We went to the Safeway in Homer and got groceries for our one day two night stay. I thought we were going to have an oven, but luckily everything was ok to microwave. We took Mako’s water taxi over to the spit. They were about 45 minutes late picking us up, but we saw Orcas on the way back to Homer so it all worked out. Overall we had an amazing stay and we would love to one day come back and stay longer.

Kristi’s place is absolutely amazing. It was the perfect place for us to get away. The beach is fantastic, lots of eagles and sea otters, and best of all there was a lot of peace and quiet. We will definitely be back!
