Seneca lake Love Shack Route 14 Penn Yan NY in the heart of Wine Country

This our third time at the Love Shack. We love the house, the view of the lake, and the location. The place is clean and comfortable. It’s amazing to wake up and see the sun rising up over the lake out of the big windows. Book it now!

Home is in a fantastic location with fabulous views. Well equipped, spacious and close to so many wineries - even one right across the street.

Cabin was cozy and very clean. Good location. Quite area.All in all it was a great experience.

We had a wonderful time at the love shack. Tim was very responsive and helpful when needed. The place was well stocked and clean.Just be aware that the pull out couch isn't very comfortable for sleeping and the TV is not in the main living area

Perfect getaway, close to all major attractions/cities/towns yet secluded enough to feel away from it all. Tim's recommendations for winery's and places to eat are spot on. Would love to come back!!

This house was as advertised. Nice location away from town but close to everything around the Finger Lakes. Great recommendations from the owner on places to go and things to do. Definitely go to Watkins Down State Park!Would stay here again.

Well located, clean and beautiful views.

We stayed here with another couple and our stay was great. The house was perfect for our needs, and despite the high temperatures we enjoyed the views off the deck of the lake. The location is great for exploring the wineries, and about 30 minutes from Watkins Glen State Park. Everything you would need is provided for you.

Great house, we had a wonderful serene weekend away. It was super clean and in a perfect location on the lake. Waking up ever morning with coffee on the deck was incredible. Scouts Vineyard across the street was also super convenient and had great wines, highly recommended them and this property. We’d definitely come back.

Our mini getaway was amazing! The house and the view were perfect. Waking up in the morning to the view of the water is amazing! We played games on the enclosed porch during the rain and just enjoyed our time. We will be back again! The area has a lot to offer for food, beer and wine!. Tim was excellent with correspondence and answering questions.

My husband turned 40 this past weekend and to celebrate we decided to come back to an area we fell in love with last fall. The cabin is perfectly located right in the middle of so many wineries/breweries we still have yet to visit ALL of them. That just means we will certainly have to return!! As soon as we walked it, it smelled freshly cleaned. The view is spectacular so even if the weather doesn't cooperate to enjoy the deck/yard you can sit on the second level with a glass of wine and enjoy the lake view with your love. We played cards in the evening at the porch table giving it an Adirondack feel. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to use this host in the future. Thank You!!

This place was very clean, nice deck and side porch. Has a beautiful view of the lake, communication was excellent. Definitely will stay there again!

We had a very good day. The house was better in person than in the pictures. Extremely clean. Host was very responsive to any questions. Excellent location to Seneca wine trail and Watkins Glen State Park. Use from the porch were breathtaking. Highly recommend staying here

This was our third stay at the Love Shack and it couldn’t have been better! We come each fall to tour wineries and waterfalls. The Love Shack is cozy and relaxing with an amazing view of the rising sun each morning, a lovely deck, and all the amenities for a long weekend stay. The location is great for traveling around Seneca and Keuka. The winery across the street-Scout-is wonderful!

Clean property with a beautiful lake view. Giving 4 stars due to second bedroom in the loft is open to the living room. The second bathroom upstairs had poor water pressure. The listing stated soap was provided but that was only hand soap and dish soap. No soap for showering. With all that said, we would likely stay again.

We loved the lake and the bbq deck. The house was very clean and everything was there for a great Holiday. If you come from the big city everything is good. If you are used to more quiet surroundings, this might be not for you. There is a noisy road behind the house that you can hear inside as well. Also if you don't want to wake up at six, bring something to cover your eyes because the curtains are very light.

The property was very clean and exactly as described. We were close to multiple wineries and Watkins Glen State Park. We would recommend this property and will probably return next year.

Except for a few missing necessities ( like bath mats) the cabin was very nice, comfortable, and in a good location for the activities we enjoyed.

Great long weekend in wine country. The property was clean and a great location on the lake. Beautiful views and a short walk down to the lake. Close to wineries and restaurants. Our host Tim was excellent and quick to respond to questions. He thankfully replaced our coffee pot in a matter of hours. Would recommend the Love Shack and we will stay here again.
