Secluded Storybook Cabin -Dog Friendly with Fenced Yard and Starlink

The cottage was absolutely adorable! We loved everything about it. We enjoyed hanging on the front porch with our pups. The location was beautiful and close to everything. The hosts were very welcoming. And the cookies they left for us were delicious! And the pups enjoyed the cookies left for them too. A perfect weekend getaway.

Very cute, comfortable, and clean tiny home with everything you could possibly need and more! We had a great time in Franklin and attending the Christmas kickoff celebrations. I only wish it had been warm enough to relax on the lovely porch and read a book. We will have to come back in the summer.

This was the best little place for our family. I was having trouble finding a place in the area in our price range but nice. Then I found this gem! It is tucked away in your own little mountain with a little stream. The driveway was easy in the minivan. We felt safe here. And above all it was very clean. It even smelled “new” still. The hosts were amazingly thoughtful and had a personalized welcome sign and even a cute little birthday cake for my husband. The kids were thrilled and adored the low loft. The stairs up were narrow but easy for them. Everything I needed to cook for the family was there plus little extras. We appreciated the dvd player and DVDs too. I always say places should offer that! The property was just so beautiful. It is a little slice of heaven. Just book it!

Beautiful, secluded cabin

Super cute cabin in a private, wooded setting. The cabin was ridiculously stocked to the last detail and ready to be enjoyed. The owners thought of everything, and then some. We will stay again!

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect! Hosts were so helpful and knowledgeable in talking about the area, things to do, restaurants, etc. cottage was very clean and neat, so comfortable and cozy! We enjoyed a small piece of heaven in Storybook Cabin, Franklin, NC for a week!

The cabin was better than advertised. Secluded, yet everything you could want and more. Lori and Chris are absolutely great. If you have a need, or a want, or a question, they will do their best to make sure they can help you. We really enjoyed the stay and the area and people are old fashioned southern hospitality. We will definitely be coming back. It's like coming home to a little piece of heaven.

Wonderful stay. Watched the deer and squirrels foraging in the yard. Owners were very accommodating. I asked for flowers to be placed in the cabin. Upon arriving there was a beautiful arrangement on the bar. Very pleasant stay.

Cute Little Cabin, with a peaceful creek to enjoy - Lori & Chris have great attention to detail making the cabin feel special. The cabin is clean and cozy in a great location to enjoy all the different adventures the mountains offer.

This cabin was a tiny home away from home! We felt welcomed from the moment we opened the door. There were so many thoughtful touches and the hosts provided anything you would need for a comfortable stay. The front porch was the perfect spot to relax, have your coffee or drinks, and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature. Our corgis loved the fenced yard and splashing in the creek. They also enjoyed seeing the deer, rabbits and hummingbirds every day of our visit. It was definitely the most pup friendly property we have ever visited. Even though the cabin is just a short drive from all Franklin has to offer, this place lets you feel like you are getting away from it all. We definitely plan to visit again. Our pups give it two paws up!

Perfect little cabbin nestled quietly in the woods makes for an amazing get away!

The Cute Cabin is the perfect place to getaway. We just needed a long weekend for some rest and relaxation surrounded by nature and we got just what the doctor ordered. Loved watching the deer roam the property every morning while enjoying coffee on the covered porch. Baker/dog was in heaven playing in the creek and we really appreciated the fenced area around the cabin where she was able to wander. Cozy firepit with a wonderful blaze was a perfect way to end the day. We ventured into town a bit and took in the local scene. But the best thing about our stay was how clean, warm and inviting this little cabin is and the hosts Lori and Chris go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I highly recommend this property!!

This was our 2nd visit to the Cute Cabin and we enjoyed every minute of it! The cabin was exceptionally clean and the owners provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very relaxing to sit on the front porch each morning and listen to the birds sing. We also enjoyed exploring the property and searching for gems in the creek. There is so much to do in the Franklin area, such as taking scenic drives, walking the greenway, visiting the Gem & Mineral Museum and shopping downtown. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had and we cannot wait to return again!

The Cute Cabin is the perfect cozy spot to get away from the hustle and bustle and just unwind. Everything about it was amazing - super clean all around, really comfortable bedding, fully outfitted kitchen, fenced in yard, babbling creek, and a hammock we couldn’t get our kids out of! We enjoyed hiking on the owners’ property, hanging out by the fire pit, and some local gem mining. Lori and Chris are the best hosts ever, and we can’t wait to come back!!

I absolutely loved my stay here and I wish I would have stayed longer. I enjoyed exploring the property, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, and looking for garnets in the driveway. There's so much to do in the surrounding area. I can't wait to rebook!

This home was the perfect place for our family of three plus 2 dogs (under 25 pounds). The hosts went above and beyond in their thoughtfulness and care of the property and their guests. We arrived to a beautiful, clean home with welcome refreshments (even treats for our pups!) and fully stocked with everything we needed (and more!). Our dogs loved the fenced-in yard and dog toys to play with and our 10-year-old loved the loft! Our hosts, Lori and Chris, were so kind to give us rock mining lessons during our stay! And they were quick to resolve any issues that came up as well as provide us with anything we needed. I highly recommend staying in this super cute cabin! It’s comfortable, cozy, and the perfect place for a mountain getaway. This cabin has been added to our places to visit again. :)

This trip was special, I got brought my 13yr old fur baby for his last real adventure...and Gilligan just LOVED it! Lori and Chris were beyond great hosts. They make you feel so welcome! Their attention to the small details is what makes everything that much more special.This cabin is perfect for any kind of trip- seclusion, solitude, quiet...you got it! Hiking, adventure, gem mining... it's all there! The location is close enough to any conveniences you may want (food, gas, Walmart) but still feels far enough away from the city life. Don't pass up this wonderful opportunity for rest and relaxation (Selfishly, If you do that's fine. Just leaves more days available I can come back lol) Thank you both for everything!

As returning guests to The Cute Cabin in Frog Hollow, we were comforted with the same high quality we experienced the first visit and delighted with the extra unique touches that Lori and Chris provided. They truly want everyone to have the best visit and their kindness shines through their hospitality.

Our stay at this cute cabin in Cowee Valley was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. It truly felt like a “home away from home” for us. The cabin was spotless and it had everything we needed. The front porch is a perfect spot to sit and unwind. We enjoyed cooking several meals outside on the gas grill. The creek that runs next to the cabin is very peaceful and a great place to search for gems. The owners are very responsive and helpful with providing ideas for activities to do in the area. We enjoyed several scenic drives and gem mining at 2 of the nearby mines. We highly recommend staying at this cabin and are already planning our next visit!

Nestled in the woods, this cabin does not disappoint. It has everything you need and more. The porch is wonderful for a nice sit and a read. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. The bed is nice and comfy. You couldn’t ask for more but you get it with the best hosts, Lori & Chris.

We needed a weekend getaway cabin that prioritizes pet comfort along with people and that is exactly what The Cute Cabin provides. We had the most relaxing vacation and would love a return trip.

We choose this cabin for it's peaceful surroundings and proximity to activities in the area and it did not disappoint! From the start the hosts made checking in easy and even left us homemade cookies and other treats to welcome us. The property itself is so cute with it's frog hollow theme and beautifully landscaped surroundings. We spent lots of time enjoying the creek and exploring the property for pretty rocks. My daughters had acquired some plant and mushroom pamphlets from a museum we had been to and had a blast identifying things they found. The natural beauty there is so relaxing. The home itself has everything we needed and was very comfortable. The town of Franklin was close enough for restaurant runs and anything we needed. The hosts were very accommodating as well and were available if we needed anything. During our stay our daughters wanted to meet their dogs and they met us so they could play. Chris and Lori brought examples of the various rocks they could look for in the area and even gifted them a sample of a local gem. They were over the moon about such a sweet gesture from the already amazing hosts. We look forward to returning to this little oasis in the future.
