Secluded cabin just 2.5 miles from Troy University

This Little Cabin is in a perfect location - not far from town, shopping, university…2.5 miles out creating its own seclusion and safe place. It’s nice to be waken by the sounds of nature and the farm animals. The cabin is a lovely retreat; nicely done and perfect for the location. The place was perfect for 4 adults and a fur-baby. My fur-baby enjoyed the space and she was awed by the animals. I spent many summers in Troy in my childhood roaming the countryside on my family homestead. This brought back fond memories.

If I could give it more stars I would!! I will definitely be going back with my family, they have so many things for the kids to do. Amazing cabin and host 👍

Everything was great, but the ceiling fan in the bedroom makes an annoying bumping noise that kept waking me up. Otherwise, everything was perfect. This was our second stay here, so I highly recommend it for a little getaway!

The cabin was extremely nice!

The host were very welcoming and friendly, family friendly atmosphere, and very secluded. Great place to enjoy quietness and relax.

When I first arrived one of the panes were broken in the front window. The website says it would have a grill but it didn't. Now everything else was amazing. Very private. Located on an secluded farm. Extra amenities. Very clean. Cabin had everything that I needed. I will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I honestly wish we had got to spend more time at the cabin! It was incredibly clean, charming, and had everything you could possibly need while away from home. It was very quiet and secluded but close to everything at the same time. We know where we will be staying during future visits!

Very spacious, clean, smart house on the farm. We had fresh 12 eggs in the fridge from the host. It was very nice. When I will come to Troy again, I would definitely stay there again. It is better than the picture.

My favorite spot to stay in Troy

Another lovely stay on this beautiful farm in Troy. Our dog loves the space to run around. The cabin is always clean, well appointed and very comfortable. We love seeing the farm animals roaming around. Beautiful walking trails thru the woods and conveniently located close to town. We’ll be back!

This was our 2nd visit. Beautiful cabin and property! Everything you could possibly need inside is provided. Outside offers fishing, hiking trails, a target range, wildlife and adorable farm critters. Matt and Angie are great hosts. We'll be back.

This cabin is lovely. So relaxing, but has great short hikes. Our dog joined us on many of these. Farm animals were fun to watch from afar. Just what we needed!

It was all great. I would love to come back sometime. Everything was nice neat clean all the amenities were nice. The woods behind the building were really nice and the animals were extra bonus.

What a great experience! We were there for our daughter’s graduation at Troy. We stayed an extra night just to enjoy the property. From baby goats to walking in the woods, what a unique place. So close to town, but with a relaxing, remote vibe. Would be great for a Trojan football weekend. Thanks for this opportunity wonderful space!

Absolutely amazing weekend. Wish we would’ve stayed longer. Simple, clean, relaxing, and the little things like shampoo, conditioner, trash bags, etc provided. Kitchen has EVERYTHING. Literally. In the middle of the country, yet 15 min from a Publix. So thankful for this family sharing their amazing property with Troy sports families! What a retreat!

We love staying here! Last time I left a bottle of perfume and when we arrived they left it out in the bedroom for me. So sweet! We will be booking here for all of our Troy stays!

Loved the place

This property was nothing but amazing. It was located close to Troy campus. The amenities were better than expected. Clean and had everything one could need. We visited for Troy color guard practice but I was at the cabin the whole time and it was the perfect mini vacation I needed. Hosts were super friendly, helpful and respected our privacy. I honestly can't say enough good things about this property. Family and pet friendly, teenager friendly and an adult dream come true. We will be back in 2 weeks and will stay here anytime we visit our daughter at Troy!

My husband and I went to the cabin for my 63 Birthday getaway. It was AMAZING. So relaxing and just perfect in every way. We WILL be back to this wonderful place.

The stay was great for younger people with no disabilities. The steps need hand rails for older people and hand bar for the shower. The over all stay was enjoyable. Just inconvenient for handicapped.

This cabin was absolutely amazing!! It was so peaceful and I loved having all of the animals around! My boys went fishing in their downtime from baseball and enjoyed every minute of it.

Awesome time

First time staying in this part of the country and have to say we were impressed. The cabin exceeded our expectations, the owners were very communicative and accommodating. We truly enjoyed the peace and comfort of this wonderful booking.

The cabin was really nice. It was clean and stocked with all essentials. Very easy check-in & check-out. Loved seeing the goats & cows. My husband saw a wild turkey in the yard one morning.Very relaxing & quiet. Really enjoyed our stay!

The house was very comfortable and had everything. The air mattress on the pullout couch made this a comfortable stay for 3 in a one bedroom.The property was great! Quiet, peaceful, and full of life. It was a real treat to see all the animals on this small farm.The owners are on property but not close. Their presence was on the farm and not near the house. They were very welcoming and made the stay even better. Would definitely stay again!

3rd stay and we love it. Love hearing the farm animals and seeing the new baby goats. Hosts are so nice and accommodating. Has everything you need. Close to town if you want to eat out or shop. We will be back.

Neat little cabin tucked in the woods that is so close to Troy. I would highly recommend the cabin over a hotel in town.

This was our second stay at the cabin and it won’t be the last! The cabin was super clean, well appointed and we love the peace and quiet of the farm. Our grandchildren love coming to see us there and enjoy seeing all the animals. Convenient to town also.

This cabin was the cutest thing! I didn’t want stay in a hotel with two young kids and my sister was having her baby shower at the pavilion that they have on the property to rent out, so this worked out perfectly. During the baby shower, the owner was outside with the animals and of course all the kids wanted a tour, so he took everyone to see each of the animals on the property. It’s definitely a hidden gem in Troy!

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. The owners were so kind to go out of their way to help in assisting with my wife’s birthday celebration. They picked up fresh flowers and cupcakes ahead of time from a local bakery to ensure she was surprised as soon as we entered the cabin. The cabin itself was literally everything we were looking for. It was very clean, organized and anything we could possibly need was readily available. Beautiful scenery, access to hiking trails friendly farm animals and of course my favorite part of the whole property, the shooting range! This cabin was literally the best relaxation spot for my wife and I. Although small, the city of Troy provides just about everything you would need (in the rare case the cabin doesn’t already have it!) all within driving distance. If you ever find yourself wanting to just get away and relax, this is the perfect place for you! We are sure to return in the future! Thank you again for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

Absolutely best place we have stayed. It’s literally home away from home. Has everything you need. Very clean. Kitchen has it all. So quiet and quaint but close to all you want to do. Loved the farm animals you see daily. Matt went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Angela’s detail to everything in the cabin is wonderful. I loved how organized everything was and if in question you just opened her book. Will definitely be back.

Our son found this (perfect) location for us on Vrbo. It was close to our daughter's wedding venue, the Lilly Rose Barn in Goshen. We plan to go back one day and enjoy all the amenities offered! We just ran out of time! The secluded cabin is beautifully built, and a very private place in the woods; the cedar wood in the cabin smelled amazing! The animals on That Little Farm were fun to watch! Great stay as usual!

We enjoyed our three days staying in the farm. Was so relaxing, cozy and quiet and literally a couple of minutes from downtown Troy. Will definitely return when visiting Troy !

We were in town for our son’s baseball game and this place was perfect. Great location to the university and the home is awesome.

We loved the quiet location, the clean, well equipped cabin and the friendly owners that manage the farm/property. The kids enjoyed fishing in the pond, hiking on the trails, and making s'mores by the fire.

We love this property and have stayed here multiple times. Matt and Angie are the best! I just love sitting out on the front porch listening to the animals and watching the goats roam about! It is peaceful and serene and yet really close to Troy U and the square. You can’t go wrong staying here!!!

My wife, dog, and I found this cabin as an alternative to a hotel when evacuating from Hurricane Milton. Very nice stay. Quaint country cabin on a small animal farm. Clean, roomy, and quiet. Our stay was very relaxing and eased the stress of dealing with Milton. Would recommend to anyone looking for an isolated escape.

Angie and Matt are amazing hosts and their property is a peaceful oasis!!! And seriously just a few short miles to the square and the Troy campus! This is our home away from home when we visit Troy! And on this trip we were able to rent out their pavilion to host the Troy Women’s soccer team for dinner. Perfect stay!
