As soon as we walked in, we were in awe of how adorable the cabin was. It is a very modern and comfy cabin. The surrounding property was so peaceful. We would definitely stay here again! I wish we had more time to stay longer. We spent a lot of time at Touch of Nature this weekend and the cabin was a quick, easy drive. Watch out for the deer at night!

Cozy little cabin just a few minutes outside of town and a short drive to the wine trail. Great spot to unplug for a few days.

The cabin was adorable, super clean and very quiet! The free range animals were really cool, the peacocks came right up to us. We loved Tom cat too, he very friendly and welcoming! So relaxing! Just what we needed!

This property was a very nice place to relax and just get away from everything. It is in the perfect location , about 10 minutes from town and about 20 minutes from Giant City State Park. The host was very quick to respond when we had a question about something. We have already talked about going back next year!

Great property

Incredibly pleasant, quiet, private retreat. Hot tub was immaculate. Forested pastoral setting with beautiful views of the stars and birdsong all around.

The hot tub works great !!! The bed was incredibly comfortable !!! There are so many trails close by. Recommend a visit

The property was Gorgeous very secluded and comfortable. The sounds of the wildlife was amazing! The bed was extremely comfortable, 5 Stars all the way!

Cabin was very clean and well kept. We did have issues getting in the cabin as the electronic door lock would not take our code but was able to call and they were able to get us in quickly!

Everything here was perfect!

The host was very welcoming and easy to reach, though we didn’t experience any issues during our stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, and the hot tub was a great bonus. I do recommend bringing bottled water, as the tap water wasn’t the best. I like that it feels “off grid” but there are plenty of activities close to enjoy, as well.

Everything was as described. Host was responsive and helpful. Would love to stay here again.

This cabin and property was everything and more than we expected. The cabin was very clean and cute and the property was private. The kitchen was very well set up and the bathroom/shower area was great. The front porch was very enjoyable and the back porch area was perfect. The screened in area with the hot tub was an excellent addition to the cabin. The covered area next to the screened in back porch was a perfect set up for the charcoal grill and made it enjoyable to cookout. We also were pleased this cabin had a firepit area. We have stayed at several other cabins in the Carbondale area and this one is our new favorite. We’ll definitely visit again.

What an amazing cabin. We loved the quiet location and the cabin was well stocked with everything you could need. Alison checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure we were settled in and to see if we had any questions. We loved waking up in the morning to see peacocks walking by. We can't wait to stay here again soon!

Awesome place, it was great to sit out on the porch and hear nothing but wildlife. And the cabin had all we needed and then some. We look forward to going back.

The cabin was very clean, and I paid for some enhancements, which were delivered as promised. It’s secluded enough from the city, but not too far of a drive if you want to go into town. The only thing I would change is the bed; I wish it were bigger. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place. We pulled a bass boat with us, and it was manageable, but if you have a pontoon or a larger boat, you might struggle a bit.

This cute little cabin was Everything and more. Beautiful location nestled in the Shawnee forest just like a Hallmark setting! Cabin has a rustic feel, but all the amenities you need! Was very clean and we were impressed with how organized it was using QR codes for instructions! We enjoyed seeing several deer and the country feel of hearing turkeys and roosters. The best was being on a path for the winery trail- so much fun!! We loved this place and will.be back. This cabin is a true Gem!!

The husband and i were looking for a cute cabin near the Shawnee forest to get away for a few days to rest and relax and we found it. It was quiet and far enough from town that it made the hustle and bustle of life seem distant.I would recommend.

Just really needed to get away for some me time.

This property was lovely. We saw lots of deer every evening, and there's a hobby farm up the road that we visited. There was also a barn cat that hung around. Be careful, though. He tries to sneak in. There's food and treats for him in one of the kitchen cabinets, and a little shelter for him on the porch. The cabin itself was so cute and cozy. It was so nice to relax by the fireplace each night. The hot tub was very nice, and clean. While there were other cabins nearby, it still felt very private. It's the last cabin at the end of the road, so it feels a lot like you're in the woods all by yourself. Great proximity to lots of trails. We did two waterfall hikes. The waterfalls were frozen, and gorgeous..We would absolutely stay here again!

Couldn't have been better

Very nice, cozy cabin in a quiet rural area. The cabin is located at the end of a road next to a farm that had peacocks, turkeys, and other animals which we could see from the road. Since we enjoy outdoor activities, we liked that the cabin is not far from Giant City and Shawnee National Forest. The online Welcome Guidebook that the host provided was very helpful.

We booked this cabin for the end of our honeymoon. The cabin was amazing The view was amazing. It was so clean when we went we got there. The host Allison who was awesome too even turned on the hot tub so it was all ready for us when we got there. We're already planning our trip back there next year for our one year anniversary.
