We really enjoyed our stay for our 20th anniversary. The cabin was clean, relaxing and exceeded our expectations. It was a perfect get-away!

Excellent place to stay when visiting southern IL

Attractive and modern accommodations, very clean with all the amenities you would need for a weekend get-away. Since I struggle with back pain, the apex for me was the water therapy in the jacuzzi tub on the deck. The heat and jets were instrumental in my pain relief. I appreciate the fact that the owners invested in a quality product. I highly recommend this cabin, it was a positive experience, two thumbs up.

The place was exactly what we wanted. Cozy relaxing. Enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Also loved walking the trail around the cabin. Would definitely visit again

What a great location in Southern Illinois. Allison was great and our cabin was perfect. The hot top was definitely a nice enhancement. We had an incredible time!

This was a great cabin with the perfect location. Close to many trails. The hot tub was excellent to use after a day of hiking.

My wife an I had a fantastic stay at Tulip Wood Cabin! Everything was clean, pet friendly, relaxing, and close to wineries and hiking. The host was extremely communicative and the check-in process couldn't have been easier!

Beautiful cabin! Absolutely loved all the little touches! The books, games, wine glasses, reading book. All made for a perfect little place. I would have loved to have an earlier check in or later check out. Seems slightly expensive for 3pm-10am

The cabin is perfect! It’s cozy, the decor is inviting and unique, the hot tub is amazing. They really thought of everything. I have zero complaints and would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing. We felt like we really did get away, but we were still close to town if we needed anything. I think this was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on at a VRBO rental. My only complaint would be the couch--I think it's time to replace it because it was not the most comfortable to sit on. Even with that, I'm still giving this 5 stars. We are already talking about coming back. The place was clean and cozy. Well stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. We didn't use the hot tub due to the weather. I would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay!! It was very relaxing, exactly what we needed. There was everything there that we needed. Communication was good and it was exactly as advertised. We will be back!! Love how informative the host is. I left my necklace and they were so quick to get it returned to me!! Highly recommend. Thank you for everything!

This place was perfect for my boyfriend and I for a long weekend. It is close to town yet far enough away to be quiet. The hot tub was so relaxing and we even saw some deer out in the woods behind the cabin. It was cozy and we definitely plan on coming back in the future. Highly recommend!

Great quiet location near walking paths. Home was perfect size for two to four people and very clean. Will stay again.

The cabin was perfect! Has all the amenities you need!! The decor was fabulous! It definitely is a cabin in the woods. It was a very peaceful getaway. Which is what I wanted. Hiking trail right in the back of the property. Giant city state park is close by with lots of hiking trails. So I hiked during the day and sat in the hot tub. It was a perfect ending to the day. Plenty of firewood to have a fire in the evening too. Saw a deer in back of the cabin and I haven’t seen so many stars in a long time. All and all if you need to escape and just get away this is a wonderful place to do just that!

This cabin had everything my wife and I needed for a 4-day getaway.

This stay was simply amazing. Will definitely be back. We enjoyed the fire pit and nights under the stars. Relaxed in the hot tub and played a few board games that were provided.

Beautiful cabin in the woods!

We didn’t want to leave! Beautiful place, beautiful nature, beautiful attention to detail. We loved the hot tub and watching the family of deer foraging right next to the cabin. Absolutely magical. We will have to come back again!

Excellent location, excellent communication, and excellent accommodations. This was exactly what I was looking for, a quiet location in the woods. The property is lovely and they have even created trails on the property to hike, so much I took full advantage of. I highly recommend this location and plan to visit again.

Its a nice and peaceful location no problem in the future staying another night. Possibly two nights also the wife loved the decor through out the house.

My stay here was amazing! Very clean environment, had everything my fiancé and i needed to cook dinner, and the hot tub was the best part! Will be coming back.

Beautiful cabin. All of the comforts of home in a relaxing getaway. Tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Host communication excellent. Not too far from shopping, Giant City Park and many other activities. Couldn’t ask for more.

The cabin was beautiful, the surrounding area was gorgeous, and the hot tub is amazing. Everything was perfect until I realized that I personally made a scheduling mistake. Our rental ended a night sooner than I thought I had booked, it was my mistake. So I called Allison to tell her we would be leaving asap apologizing for the mistake. She was extremely kind and accommodating. Because no one was staying the next night, she asked if we would like to continue our stay for a very fair price and we very happily accepted. Our anxiety about having to leave asap was totally relieved and we were able to spend another beautiful night at our cabin. This was a perfect way to end our wedding week and I highly recommend to couples or small families. Thank you Allison!

The very best place we have stayed at!!

Everything was *muwah* (chef’s kiss)! Beautifully appointed, sparkling clean, and in tiptop shape. Not sure what I loved more…that salt spa hot tub, the cozy reading nook, or the peace and quiet that surrounded us all weekend. I almost hated to leave, but we were technically in town to see friends and do some hiking. Fortunately, everything was a quick drive. We saw the trailhead by the cabin too late to go exploring. Next time!

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Tulipwood cabin. It was the perfect cozy cabin for a quiet romantic weekend. The cabin is tastefully decorated, very clean and very well appointed. I was also pleased that it wasn’t too far to go for shopping and dining. We also enjoyed the hot tub every day we were there. We had such a great time that we can’t wait to stay there again very soon!

Tulipwood Cabin is a well appointed cabin in a convenient location for hiking, wineries, and grocery shopping. We enjoyed sitting around a fire every evening and soaking up the peace and serenity. Allison, the property manager, provides a wealth of information for local attractions, restaurants, and various other interests. We are already talking about our next trip to Tulipwood.

This was the perfect location and privacy for a short getaway. Very clean and close to Giant City State Park.

We had a fantastic stay at this perfect getaway cabin! It was calm, peaceful, clean, organized, and just downright beautiful! We had the best weekend recouping and relaxing and having fun. We hiked and then relaxed in the hot tub, we drank warm tea and played scrabble, and made a fantastic dinner and ate near the fireplace. We felt calm and content surrounded by nature.
