Stayed Oct 4, 2025We have been coming to this home for the past four years and absolutely love it. It is relaxing to say the least. You have chimney rock near you and great hiking trails as well. We will continue to come to this home at least twice a year. The host could not be any better!

Stayed Aug 14, 2025Had a GREAT time with my family. Three young boys and the wife all enjoyed the fire pit, gaming barn, outdoor activities and high end finishes in the kitchen and bathrooms. Lovely weekend and would definitely come back.

Stayed Jul 21, 2025Our family loved our stay at Raven’s Rest! The beds were incredibly comfortable and everything throughout the house was spotless. The fully equipped kitchen made us feel right at home. There were tons of board games for every age level as well as a large selection of DVD’s to choose from.We enjoyed cooking on the gas grill and eating our meals outside. The wooded backyard provided a tranquil setting. There were so many activities to bring our family together such as hanging out in the barn to play many games of foosball, ping pong, and darts. There was also a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs and a swing. On the side of the barn there were horseshoes to play or you could just sit and relax in the comfy chairs nearby. Another fun experience was to walk the trail beside the barn.We took several trips to the nearby lake where we enjoyed using the SUP, pool noodles, and rafts that were provided by our host. We even hung out at the pavilion. You could use the grills and picnic tables provided and sit in the rocking chairs that overlook the lake. Staying at Raven’s Rest was an unforgettable experience. Our host was helpful, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable.

Stayed Jul 23, 2024I absolutely love this place! The mountain home is fully equipped with everything and then some for an excellent, fun and relaxing trip! Everything was clean, fully stocked, and set up for a perfect get a way ! The owner did a wonderful job offering games, the game barn, fire pit, ceiling fans everywhere, dimmers on the lights, nice grill , deck and lovely front porch. The grounds at Riverbend are wonderful. Lots of mountains, river areas to hike, swimming hole, and beach at the lake is great. I loved having coffee in the mornings reading on the front porch, playing games in the outdoor game barn and backyard, walking the grounds, and exploring. The cabin was so nice and comfortable. I have already recommended family and friends. We enjoyed our entire stay and we will be back for a longer stay next summer!

Stayed Feb 16, 2024This property exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was fully stocked. There were tons of board games. They even had brochures to assist you on planning your time there. The outdoor activities are endless......they have a game room and horseshoes.....theres a gas grill and an amazing fire pit with tons of seating. I could go on forever. I believe this is the best place we have ever stayed.....and we vacation often!
