Rustic Creekside Cabin

Beautiful and quiet. Lack of phone signal affected my ability to participate in local fare.

What an amazing place to unplug and reconnect. The cabin was everything we hoped and more. Excellent place to stay!!

Everything was GREAT, the only thing that I would say is the door didn’t lock which made my wife a little nervous, would definitely stay again

We wanted Rustic...we got Rustic. It was extremely clean, the owner had already started the wood stove so it was warm and inviting when we arrived. Clean, quiet, great porch and rockers and bubbling stream right in front.

Drove to the address of the property, only to find nothing was there. The street number was between 2 actual houses, but there was just a field. Drove up and down the dirt road twice. Checked the listing's special instructions and there was nothing noted there about special directions. Tried to call owner; no cell service. Drove 20 minutes away to get cell service. Left a message with owner. It's 3 days since and I STILL have not heard from him. Had to book another hotel. Trying to get a refund now, but Travelocity is being pretty worthless, and the owner apparently isn't interested in making this right.

The perfect getaway! Serene landscape with babbling brook right outside the front porch. Plenty of firewood for a cold winter night. The PERFECT escape. Will be back!

We loved this place. For being rustic, everything was well thought of to make this a relaxing and refreshing experience. When leaving, we felt a bittersweet feeling. We enjoyed the wildlife and taking walks. A lovely area! The one thing it needed...cows on the hillside with bells around their necks! As I said in the beginning, we LOVED this place!

My wife and I stayed in the cabin to see the stars, hike, and enjoy unplugging for a few days this fall. We really enjoyed our time, and the Franklin stove provided plenty of heat to keep us warm as temps dropped in the evening.

The cabin was adorable and perfect for our weekend getaway. The host provided so many amenities! The skies were dark and the stars were out! It was amazing!

Quaint Creekside Cabin is the perfect getaway for you to reconnect with the outdoors and enjoy the beauty of Potter County. Not secluded yet private and also a pond only a minutes walk from the front porch so bring your fishing poles. The cabin is more beautiful than the pictures could ever show and although there’s a porta-John it is very sanitary. Definitely going back , possibly a winter trip.

Very quiet area in the woods, has Franklin stove, picnic table and clean port-a-potty. We accidentally took home two of their pillows because my husband sleeps with a lot of pillows and their pillow cases are brown like ours. They were going to charge us for them but I asked if we could ship them and they were kind enough to agree with that.
