Rustic Cottage Getaway by Lake Wallenpaupack - 2 bedroms and Large Loft

Clean and comfortable cottage!

Its a very cozy and comfortable cabin at a wonderful location. We went with our children and elderly parents. Bill is a super host and gave us accurate directions to reach there. It snowed heavily the day we reached and all of us had fun playing with the snow, spotting deers and walking alongside the frozen lake. This place is a 10/10.

Lovely cabin that was 5 minutes from Lake Wallenpaupack. We came for a quick rustic weekend getaway and this place was perfect; quiet neighborhood, nature, and great comfort.

Could have been a little cleaner, but overall it was a pleasant stay! This a great getaway to unplug with friends. The location is amazing and having access to a fireplace indoors and a fire pit outdoors really made the trip. It rained one day, so having the option to cozy up indoors was lovely. I would definitely stay again!

Adequate cabin, nice stay

A charming woodsy cabin. A short walk or drive downhill to the lake with beautiful views on a rocky beach. Very comfortable beds and all you need to relax. And so many sweet deer pass by, they eat right from your hand!

Nice cottage recommend for families

We had a great stay as a family of five. The place was very clean and well maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that made everything easy. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the lake. The host was very friendly and always quick to respond to our requests. We would definitely recommend this place!

Owner was great with communication even let us check in early. Clean nice little cottage walking distance to the lake. Enjoyed watching all the deer and their babies

Cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Location was great too. Found good food and things to do nearby. Owner was great at communicating up to check in day. We think the kitchen items could’ve been a little cleaner as well as a little better lighting in the kitchen, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely rustic cabin. The deer came to our back door and ate out of our hands. Beautiful area on Lake Wally. Just what we wanted, quietness.

My husband and I as well as our two adult sons were impressed with this cottage. Ideally located in a lovely area. We were greeted by a family of deer who practically came right up to you. Not having a TV wasn't an issue because we played card games and connected as a family. My only negative would be it could have been cleaned a little better (cob webs here and there) and the mattresses were a little hard although my husband liked ours. We would consider renting this cottage again.

The cabin was in a great location. The cleanliness could be improved upon. I had to buy Clorox bathroom tile cleaner to spray on shower where tub met tile it was moldy but then it came right out. I wanted to sit on front and back porch to have my coffee but chairs were dirty and when they knew renters were coming should have been cleaned before we came. I understand it was a cabin but I suggest a new cleaning person before renters come in.

My son's and I have taken a trip up to lake wallenpaupack for the last 5 years, 2nd year we stayed at this cabin. Overall great place to stay. Planning on staying there again, we love it!

Awesome place to stay. Not having a TV was a bonus because getting away from everyday life for a bit is always helpful. I would absolutely stay here again. Owner was a very nice guy!

This place was absolutely perfect for us. The cabin was beautiful, there was plenty of parking, outdoor entertainment areas and great access to the lake! They had firewood SPLIT for us, plenty of seating and gorgeous scenery. The owner TRULY cares about the guests staying at their home! we had an amazing weekend because of this cabin!

This property is exactly as described and shown. We stayed 3 nights to enjoy the lake with our new boat, and this cabin was perfectly located. Plenty of restaurants nearby but off of the main road so it is very quiet. We used the grill too which looked brand new! Yes, the deer come often! They will eat right out of your hand and are very calm. We visited this cabin at the height of a heat wave (over 90 degrees) and the place was very well air conditioned with convenient air flow. Would stay here again!

This was a nice cabin however, I was disappointed that it was not cleaned inside. There were cobwebs on light fixtures, very dusty on tables and lampshades and spider webs inside all the windows and on the walls. I realize it is in the woods but I am referring to the inside. The Microwave and refrigerator was not clean. Smashed bug on the wall in a bedroom. The propane gas grill outside was completely rusted and the burners were rusted through and broken in half and there was no way to grill on it. The cabin is very nice and the location too. I hope it is cleaned thoroughly for the next visitor.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Was very comfortable. Wonderful neighborhood and community. We saw deer on the property every day multiple times a day. Enjoyed our nights around the fire pit. It was a great attachment with not having a TV would highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking to get away and just decompressing online to stay here.
