Lakehouse Getaway – Modern Comfort and Great Views on Lake Wallenpaupack

Beautiful home in a wonderful location. The view of the lake was great. The house was extremely clean and welcoming. Many upscale amenities. Neighborhood was great for walking. Great communication from our host.

Jill was a great host. The house appeared to be newly renovated. It was clean and very comfortable. Jill supplied everything we needed for our stay. Wonderful view of the lake. We loved the fire pit. We rented boats on 3 different days to fully enjoy the lake. An excellent experience.

We had a fantastic stay, 7/31-8/6! The house is spacious, with inviting & tasteful decor. The place is stocked with all kinds of amenties:- full, modern kitchen with everything from a new blender (thanks, Jill!) to a cabinet full of spices- outdoor living highlights include a firepit w/ firestarters & marshmallow toasting sticks, 2 grills (wood burning & propane - note, a spare propane tank provided) and kayaks/paddleboard available. The deck is amazing!- upstairs, a deluxe double shower & pod coffe in the master bedroom that you can sip on the step out balcony. - bathrooms on each of the 3 floors (it pays to be a little sparing w hot water at shower time) and abundant lighting throughout the house (we've stayed in some pretty dark properties before).The place was perfectly clean on arrival. If you value responsive communications with your host, you will be very pleased with the immediacy and helpfulness provided by Jill & Dave. My family and I had an easy and stress free stay at this wonderful property. If you're looking to stay at Wallenpaupack, I highly recommend you consider this house!

Excellent comfortable home.

Nice place, perfect for families.

We absolutely loved our stay there. It took us a little to learn the lay of the land but once we did it was a true joy. It is truly a super short walk to the areaway where the dock is and we spent a lot of time there soaking up the sun, fishing, and swimming. The house itself is immaculate and super visitor friendly. We had a small weather hiccup which no one could control and the owner even offered us a late check out as a courtesy. The owner was always available and very helpful. We would love to rent from them again. My whole family enjoyed their stay! Thanks!

My family and I recently stayed her and enjoyed every minute. The house is located steps away from the lake, which made it so easy for my children and I to access. The kids were able to enjoy both swimming in the shallow water and jumping off the docks into the deeper waters. It is so close to the lake that we were able to easily take our kayak out on. The owner of the house really thought about everything necessary to make it a cozy and convenient stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to prepare meals. We enjoyed many meals on the deck in the evening while watching the sunset set over the lake. My kiddos loved sleeping on the bunk beds in the basement! There were toys that kept them busy at night and a TV for them to wind down with. The rooms upstairs were very comfortable. The primary had a wonderful deck to enjoy morning coffee on. Overall, we had an amazing stay! You really could show up with nothing and have everything you need there. The house was extremely clean upon arrival. The owners seemed very kind and were responsive to any questions we had.

Everything about our stay was great. The beds, sofa and chairs were comfortable. The view of the lake from the upper and lower decks made for a very enjoyable and relaxing week. The towels were soft, plenty of spices were available and although our grandchildren couldn’t join us they would have loved all the toys. The hosts chose the amenities with care. I would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay and particularly liked the community. It had four areaways or parks where there were chairs and benches to sit by the water. The house had comfortable beds, nice linens and great towels. The kitchen was well-stocked and I did not need to bring spices, oil, etc. There is a nice view of the water from the deck. Owners are super responsive. Overall, a very positive experience.
