Had a wonderful stay at this cabin with family. The place has a cool vibe–rustic, cozy and comfortable. Everything you need is there. And the best part of this property is the location and spectacular views of the lake, mountains and sunsets. Easy access into Burlington with lots to see and do is pretty great too, as well as great hiking and biking nearby. Just some of our trip highlights: walking and biking the causeway and bike ferry to South Hero Island; Ethan Allen tower and the historic home; Shelburn Farm and Inn; Burlington arts district; toll road up Mt. Mansfield at Stowe; Sailing our boat from the beach just below the house.

The house was clean and had plenty of room for our group of eight. The lake view was amazing, and there was lots of space both inside and outside to hang out.

Great location near the bike path. We rented this cabin for a family gathering for my husband’s three siblings and their families. Our niece and her son live nearby, so we had up to 13 gathering for meals and up to 11 adults staying overnight. The kitchen was cozy but well equipped with everything we needed except a crockpot and a muffin pan. The large island was great for setting up meals buffet-style. We ate at the long tables on the screened porch (or “3-season room”), and the weather was beautiful. Would have been tight to dine 13 people inside. The two bathrooms with showers were well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. There is a full size washer and dryer in the 2nd (larger) bathroom and plenty of towels. A lovely location and enjoyable, relaxed stay.

Had a great long weekend with friends celebrating one of the guests. Gold and breweries were fantastic. Really enjoyed our time and the cottage and bunk house was exactly what we needed.

Our stay at Barney Point was everything we imagined and more. The roomy cabin had space for our large group both inside and out. Meals in the sun room and nights out by the firepit were the highlights. Plenty of natural light, with wind that kept the temperature comfortable day & night. Communication with ownership was top-notch and the check in/out process a breeze. I would highly recommend a stay on Lake Champlain here.

We came up here for a reunion and this property did not disappoint. The home was beautiful and steps away from the lake. The host team was the best I have ever worked with. Couldn't recommend this place enough. We hope to be back someday.

Came up for my brother's bachelor party. Being just outside burlington is fantastic. Close enough to get to do what we wanted, but secluded enough that we didn't feel pressured. The cabin inself was super cozy. it mostly comfortably slept 10 dudes. The views are insanely beautiful and the firepit was perfect. I'd absolutely stay here again with a big group

We picked this property because of its rustic nature as well as ability to host a large number of people. The views are absolutely amazing. We couldn’t get enough, hated to leave. We look forward to booking again in the future.

Our family had a wonderful time at this classic lakeside camp! We found it very clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and charmingly rustic. Absolutely breathtaking views and very well situated with a short walk to the rail trail. Loved it!

My Wife and I booked a stay for 4 nights, We only stayed there 1 night and got a hotel for the remainder of our stay. Rustic does not mean filthy. The coffee pot had green mold, the kitchen smelled like trash (due to the trash can and recylcles never being cleaned) Cobwebs and spiders everywher, pubic hairs and urine on the toilet.... the furniture is worn out and the roof leaks by the front door! Tent camping would be better. Not worth the money.

House provided family of 5 (all over 20 years) plenty of room to hang out yet have separate spaces. Screened in porch best feature! Great for large dinners or sitting watching the water with a book. Alot to do nearby between Colchester and Burlington. Great vacation!

This was an incredible place right on Lake Champlain. The location could not be better. It feels very remote, yet you are 15 minutes from Burlington. Inside, it is rustic and very comfortable. Everything was neat and clean. In the main house you can easily fit 10 people with their own rooms. You can add another couple with a futon in the main room. The property management company was responsive and easy to deal with. Overall, when visiting Burlington, I highly recommend this place.
