Great find...Secluded but plenty to do without leaving the property. Cabin is open concept. Main bedroom is a retreat in itself when you want some quiet time away from the family. Something for everyone at this particular property. Could not of asked for a better stay!

Our family truly enjoyed the two nights away in God's country. The property was remote and just what we needed to unwind. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. They even had coffee available, though we brought are own. The pond was stocked and the deer loved to show their presence. We are looking forward to making this an annual tradition with our family.Thank you Kevin and Lori!!

Great small cabin for exploration and retreat.

This was our second trip and it did not disappoint. The cabin has everything you need. It is peaceful and relaxing. The location is amazing. Would recommend and would stay again!

Just what we needed for a few days away. We enjoyed the seclusion and privacy. The boys fished everyday, set up the corn hole game, played tether ball and tossed around a football to pass time. Lounging in the hammock was a favorite too! We made use of the fully stocked kitchen as well as the gas grill. Our little fur baby joined us as well and was intrigued by all the sounds of nature. The four of us had plenty places to comfortably sit, inside and out to enjoy each others company. We did not have time to make a fire inside or outside, but there was plenty of wood available if we wanted to. The stairs to the loft were challenging, but the younger folk had no problems. Everything was clean and accurate as advertised. Communication was outstanding and I have marked this place as a favorite!!

Fantastic property for a long weekend. Plenty of supplies in the house for most needs. The power went out for a few hours while we were there due to storms and there were no emergency candles. Luckily we brought a few ourselves so it wasn't too bad. The cabin is in a very isolated area which is exactly what we were looking for. Really enjoyed hiking through the woods and property. The pond was nice to fish and I did manage to catch a few even though the water was murky from the storms. All in all a wonderful retreat that is quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Everything is perfect. We feel like it's our own vacation home, quiet, relaxing, piece, and comfort... We will definitly be back again.

This was a really great, secluded location for a long weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and we are already planning a trip back in nicer weather to really take advantage of what the location has to offer with the private lake and all of the trails. We saw lots of deer and turkeys, but you will not see or hear another person, car or anything, and the clear, dark night sky is reason alone to rent this cabin. Thank you for creating this peaceful space and opening it up for others to enjoy.

The host Kevin was very accommodating during our stay. The cabin and property is beautiful!! We caught plenty of fish in the property lake(crappie,bass, bluegill). We had a great time fishing, hiking, sitting by the fire, grilling food etc. Would definitely return in the future. The cabin was cozy. Plenty of space for us. Firewood available. Lots of animals hung on the walls. Easy communication with host. All supplies we needed were available. Wifi worked well.

Great stay!! Hiking was AMAZING! There was trail magic every day! No use of phones provided more bonding time. And the lake - all to ourselves - wow!! A must-stay for those who want to be outdoors.

Very nice cabin. Private lake is wonderfull and had good luck fishing. Use of grill and firewood was appreciated. Clean grounds. Full kitchen and bathroom make it feel like home. Second stay at this location and would like to come back again for more family memories.

We loved the property!

Check in was incredibly easy. Host answered any question prior to arrival promptly and in a courteous manner. My youngest grandson said it best Nonni, it is like we are in a Bob Ross painting. Cabin and property are very well cared for with lots of pride. Hope to get to return so edsy.

This was the 2nd year in a row that we stayed here. Wonderful property, nice clean cabin and helpful hosts in case you have any questions. Caught and released many, many fish and had perfect weather. We saw many deer, rabbits, birds and assorted squirrels and chipmunks. :) My wife and I love this place and could not recommend it more. We will be back again!

We spent 3 nights for our 60th birthday celebration relaxing, listening to nature. Cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed.

Great place, we really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Very nice cabin on a remote property overlooking a small lake. This was the recipe for some relaxing fun times. Host was very responsive and good to work with. We look forward to visiting again.

The cabin was lovely, much bigger than the pictures make it look. We (even the kids) loved the fact that there was no cell service, only I logged into the wifi and that was just to be able to communicate with my husband who arrived later on Friday. The lake was enjoyed by the kids and adults alike. The cabin had everything you would need. we hauled down chairs, and cornhole boards and utinsils. none of thatbwas necessary, they had everything. outside of bringing your own food and disposable plates/silverware you don't need anything but you, your clothes and a good book.

I honestly don’t think I heard another human being all weekend. It is totally secluded, peaceful and relaxing. The wife and I literally sat watching the pond listening to nature and just talking for hours.

The pictures and online listing do not do this property justice! It exceeded our expectations by far. The tranquil, quiet, escape from the hustle and bustle of everday life was magical.

Exactly what we were hoping for! Natural beauty and peaceful seclusion! We had a wonderful time fishing, kayaking, walking the grounds, enjoying indoor and outdoor fires, playing tetherball, cooking on the open fire, on the grill and in the fully equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Nobody wanted to leave! Definitely recommend and we hope to return in the warmer weather!

Could not have asked for a better weekend on one of the finest properties I’ve ever stayed. The natural environment is gorgeous, and there is no end to the amount of animals one can see through out the day.

I was looking for a quiet location to spend some quality time with my best friend before she moved away. The cabin was perfect! It's ideally suited for a family with the lake and outdoor spaces, but the cabin provided a cozy atmosphere for two friends to recall memories and giggle to our hearts were content. Got away with our dog and enjoyed the cabin and surrounding wooded area with a pond. Hike right from the front door. Cozy fireplace on a rainy weekend. Plan to return.

From the time we arrived and went down the winding drive our breath was taking away at God’s beauty in nature! The pond and forest view was beautiful! The inside of the cabin was rustic and home like! My husband made a nice fire and we roasted marshmallows and made smores! The next day we all (2 adults and 4 kids age 7-18) loaded up in the 12 foot metal paddle boat and went fishing! My husband, 10 year old daughter and daughter’s friend all caught fish! We then played tether ball and went exploring in the woods! I prayed to God to send us to the place for us and He did! This place is a blessing of peace, beauty and relaxation!

Very satisfied & repeated guests. We will continue to use this cabin for our future vacations. Hosts Lori and Kevin are very experienced operators and cabin keepers.

We absolutely loved this cabin and property. Our kids (ages 2-9) tooled around in the boat for hours and hours, but we also hiked on the trails and they found various aquatic critters in the creek. The house is very spacious and the amenities are great. The loft was able to sleep 5 kids no problem--and they loved it up there. It was great to have a fire outside for cooking and also come in to a fire in the fireplace. We definitely want to come back again.

This is the third time my brothers and I have enjoyed our yearly mancation in this amazing location. The cabin is great with a large indoor fireplace. We always hope for snow and cold and this year we got run around outside in plenty of both. Kevin is a great host and quickly responds to any of our needs or questions. We really enjoyed having an outside fire, overlooking the frozen pond, and chilling out in a snowstorm! Going inside and warming up in the cozy cabin was also pretty glorious. I would certainly recommend this place. Thanks for letting us stay. See you next year if not sooner!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lakeside cabin, and the pictures in the listing don't do it justice—it felt like stepping into a scene from a movie. There are endless trails to explore in the woods, a rowboat with life jackets for peaceful afternoons on the lake, games for both indoor and outdoor fun, and even a hammock to relax in and take in the beautiful surroundings.
