Stayed Sep 26, 2025Cabin was perfect for our stay. Inside was clean with all of the amenities needed for our stay. Not an easy place to turn around a tandem axle boat trailer, but we made it work.

Stayed Jan 12, 2025R&R was the perfect place to drive quads directly onto the ice for fishing.The Place was clean and warm, and very private. Plenty of room for parking. I would definitely recommend Charly's rental.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024Perfect spot on the south end of the lake. Quiet quaint place. Very clean. Bonus play area for our 3 little granddaughters when they came to visit. Pontoon ended up being a great addition to our trip. Ended up having one of our sons and his 2 boys join us for a night to fish so the loft was perfect! Fish werent biting this weekend but we loved our time at the lake!!

Stayed Jun 22, 2024This is our second time staying at the property. The owner, Charly, is great and always responsive in our communications. To cut to the chase, the only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is the lack of 2 amenities: (1) a dishwasher, and (2) laundry. This wouldn't be a big deal except that the property requires a 1-week minimum stay in the summer months. When you're traveling for a week with a family, an in-unit dishwasher and laundry is basically a must-have. Hopefully this is something Charly will consider adding in the future. Other than that our stay was great, very clean and as-advertised.

Stayed Aug 12, 2023The cottage was very nice, clean and the decor was well thought out, and well done the yard was great, the docks were sturdy and safe. For me the location on the lake wasn't ideal, the other times I've stayed on Chetek I enjoyed fishing from the pier, I didn't think of it till on the way home I could have tried fishing with something like a top water frog. All and all we very much enjoyed our stay

Stayed Jun 28, 2023Charly was communicative and proactive in reaching out prior to our arrival. The property was clean, comfortable and set up perfectly for our family of 4. The playground out back could use some minor repairs but it was a nice bonus area for our boys to work off some energy.
