Summary:

Ross Creek Cabins offer rustic style accommodations layered with the comforts of home. Wake up to breathtaking views of the Bridger Mountains and the Gallatin Range and enjoy your morning coffee on the cabin's front porch breathing in the brisk mountain air. A full kitchen allows for cooking your own meals or serving evening appetizers with some locally brewed beer on the shady front porch. These cabins offer a great base camp for retreats or adventure expeditions in Bozeman, MT.

The Space:

NOTE: We do not offer refunds or credit for cancelled reservations due to changes in flights (for dates past the cancellation policy cut off). If there is a possibility of flight changes that may affect your trip, please consider purchasing trip insurance.

Please inquire for availability to rent more than one cabin.

Frequently asked questions:

1. Is the hot tub currently open Yes, it is! We clean and chlorinate it daily.

2. Does each cabin have its own hot tub No, we have one hot tub rated at a 7 person capacity but 4 is most comfortable. The hot tub is situated centrally away from the cabins and is sunk into the ground and landscaped for a private feel.

3. Does the kitchen have everything I need to cook Yes, the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. Everything you need to prepare a meal! There are also two gas grills on site for guest use. And have a number of oils and spices in the cabins for your use!

4. How far are the cabins from downtown Bozeman We are situated 10.2 miles from downtown Bozeman. Allow 20 to 25 minutes to arrive. 10-15 minutes to reach the Target/Walmart Costco.

5. Do I need 4WD to get to the cabins 4WD is definitely not necessary to get around. Most of the roads are paved and the county keeps things well plowed in the winter. However, if you are not used to driving in snowy weather, AWD will make it much easier on you, but 2WD will also get you around just fine. However, snow tires do make a big difference.

6. How far from Bridger Bowl Ski Resort We are abut 27 miles from Bridger Bowl. 40 minute drive.

7. How far from Big Sky Ski Resort We are about 63 miles from Big Sky. About 1.5 hour drive.

8. How far from Yellowstone National Park West Yellowstone West entrance is 102 miles. 2-2.5 hr drive. Gardiner, North Entrance is 90 miles away. 1.5 hr drive.

9. How far from the Airport The airport is 10 miles via Airport Rd - Springhill Rd to Rector Rd. 15-20 minute drive.

10. How far to grocery store and restaurants Bozeman and Belgrade both offer these services and both are about a 20 minute drive.

11. Which cabin is best for a family Cabins 1 and 3 offer the most room with a separate bedroom. The other 3 cabins are studios with bed and sleeper couch in the same room. (See photos)

12. Which cabin is most private All the cabins are situated to provide a private feel. They are spaced about 150 - 200 feet apart and are orientated not to be in each others view-shed. Having said that, cabin 5 is at the end of the line.

13. Do I need to bring firewood for the stove or the fire-pit No. The stoves in the cabins are gas and we provide wood for the fire-pits.

14. Do I need to bring charcoal for the grills No, the grills are propane grills and we supply the propane.

15. Can I have my small wedding or elopement here (I am quiet and respectful!)

No. We have a very strict no wedding, ceremony, or elopement policy due to covenants.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to their cabin as well as either of the two fire-pit/patio areas and the hot tub.

The Neighborhood:

Downtown Bozeman and Belgrade are both about 10 miles away, with plenty of stores, microbreweries, and restaurants to choose from. Hike in almost any direction right from the front door, and drive 40 minutes to reach Bridger Bowl Ski Resort.

Getting Around:

We recommend that guests rent a car. We are about 10 miles from Bozeman, and using Uber can be very expensive.

Other Things to Note:

We have a very strict NO WEDDING, ceremony, or elopement policy due to our local covenants.

WE HAVE A VERY STRICT NO PET POLICY. This includes emotional support animals. We have horses on the property and cannot allow outside animals due to liability and the safety of our animals.

Service animals are allowed but must be leashed on the property at all times and must not be left in the listing alone. Please do not allow your animals on the furniture.

Interaction with Guests:

We live on the property and so are available anytime.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The view is incredible, the space is private and quiet, the furnishings are lovely, everything was spotless. The beautiful kitchen and bathroom were equipped with everything you would ever need.

The setting is spectacular. We loved the charm of the place. It was really perfect but for several small details which could make a difference: We wanted to eat outside and had to carry the table and chairs out and in. The chairs are much too heavy! There is no light above the stove and the fire alarm went off because there is no ventilation above the stove either (we were cooking a steak).

This is one of the BEST cabin property's I've ever been too... on earth!! The landscaping is immaculate and the cabins are top notch. The cabins were designed with views in mind and (like all the other reviews state), they are very well built and include top-notch amenities and appliances. (Even the iron was a Shark iron). Every cabin has a private patio with two chairs for couples to relax and view the gorgeous scenery and amazing gardens around the cabins. While there are five cabins, each cabin feels very private and secluded. Every patio is designed for ultimate privacy. There is a community hot tube that is also very well designed around the landscaping. The hot tube is very nice with multiple lighting options that allow maximum views of the stars at night. Each cabin includes two robes with two pairs of flip-flops, which can be taken to the hot tube. The owner/manager was as nice as the cabins he created!! He was actually over-the-top courteous and attentive but also was very conscious on guest privacy. There are two community fire-pits with plentiful seating. Firewood and a lighter are included. However, we bought multiple bundles in town just to help supply wood for the next guests. Next to the fire-pits, there are two respective grills and a large table with plenty of seating. The fire-pit/grill ground's also have amazing landscaping. I spent one night here, then flew to Banff up in Canada. While Banff was amazing, this place was my fav!!!

What can we say that others haven’t said already? Anything and everything one could need or want for a stay in the mountains of Montana was thought through by the hosts of Ross Creek Cabins. We generally have high standards as far as accommodations go and we were so impressed with every single detail. There’s just too many to list individually. Everything screamed “tasteful and quality” we were in total awe. Incredibly comfortable and we will 100% be returning. This place has just completely raised the bar, we can’t wait to return.

Our stay at Ross Creek Cabins was perfect. We were impressed by the beautiful grounds upon arrival and the attention to detail carried over into every aspect of the property and our cabin, everything we needed was thoughtfully prepared for our stay. We immediately felt at home and our 13 year olds twin girls declared the place a “W”. We stayed here toward the end of our very busy vacation week and appreciated the comfort and ease to round out our trip. I could not recommend this place more. Thank you to Karen and Steve for bring fabulous hosts!

Wow! We were blown away with the cabin and the Mountain View’s all around! When we first saw the cabins exterior, we were worried that it was going to be so tiny but that is far from the truth! The cabin felt huge and the gas fire place was a bonus! The owners reach out to make sure you got everything you need and if you need anything, they were more than happy to help! We can’t wait to be back! 15000/10 recommend!
