Summary:

Ross Creek Cabins offer rustic style accommodations layered with the comforts of home. Wake up to breathtaking views of the Bridger Mountains and the Gallatin Range and enjoy your morning coffee on the cabin's front porch breathing in the brisk mountain air. A full kitchen allows for cooking your own meals or serving evening appetizers with some locally brewed beer on the shady front porch. These cabins offer a great base camp for retreats or adventure expeditions in Bozeman, MT.

The Space:

NOTE: We do not offer refunds or credit for cancelled reservations due to changes in flights (for dates past the cancellation policy cut off). If there is a possibility of flight changes that may affect your trip, please consider purchasing trip insurance.

Please inquire for availability to rent more than one cabin.

Frequently asked questions:

1. Is the hot tub currently open Yes, it is! We clean and chlorinate it daily.

2. Does each cabin have its own hot tub No, we have one hot tub rated at a 7 person capacity but 4 is most comfortable. The hot tub is situated centrally away from the cabins and is sunk into the ground and landscaped for a private feel.

3. Does the kitchen have everything I need to cook Yes, the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. Everything you need to prepare a meal! There are also two gas grills on site for guest use. And have a number of oils and spices in the cabins for your use!

4. How far are the cabins from downtown Bozeman We are situated 10.2 miles from downtown Bozeman. Allow 20 to 25 minutes to arrive. 10-15 minutes to reach the Target/Walmart Costco.

5. Do I need 4WD to get to the cabins 4WD is definitely not necessary to get around. Most of the roads are paved and the county keeps things well plowed in the winter. However, if you are not used to driving in snowy weather, AWD will make it much easier on you, but 2WD will also get you around just fine. However, snow tires do make a big difference.

6. How far from Bridger Bowl Ski Resort We are abut 27 miles from Bridger Bowl. 40 minute drive.

7. How far from Big Sky Ski Resort We are about 63 miles from Big Sky. About 1.5 hour drive.

8. How far from Yellowstone National Park West Yellowstone West entrance is 102 miles. 2-2.5 hr drive. Gardiner, North Entrance is 90 miles away. 1.5 hr drive.

9. How far from the Airport The airport is 10 miles via Airport Rd - Springhill Rd to Rector Rd. 15-20 minute drive.

10. How far to grocery store and restaurants Bozeman and Belgrade both offer these services and both are about a 20 minute drive.

11. Which cabin is best for a family Cabins 1 and 3 offer the most room with a separate bedroom. The other 3 cabins are studios with bed and sleeper couch in the same room. (See photos)

12. Which cabin is most private All the cabins are situated to provide a private feel. They are spaced about 150 - 200 feet apart and are orientated not to be in each others view-shed. Having said that, cabin 5 is at the end of the line.

13. Do I need to bring firewood for the stove or the fire-pit No. The stoves in the cabins are gas and we provide wood for the fire-pits.

14. Do I need to bring charcoal for the grills No, the grills are propane grills and we supply the propane.

15. Can I have my small wedding or elopement here (I am quiet and respectful!)

No. We have a very strict no wedding, ceremony, or elopement policy due to covenants.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to their cabin as well as either of the two fire-pit/patio areas and the hot tub.

The Neighborhood:

Downtown Bozeman and Belgrade are both about 10 miles away, with plenty of stores, microbreweries, and restaurants to choose from. Hike in almost any direction right from the front door, and drive 40 minutes to reach Bridger Bowl Ski Resort.

Getting Around:

We recommend that guests rent a car. We are about 10 miles from Bozeman, and using Uber can be very expensive.

Other Things to Note:

We have a very strict NO WEDDING, ceremony, or elopement policy due to our local covenants.

WE HAVE A VERY STRICT NO PET POLICY. This includes emotional support animals. We have horses on the property and cannot allow outside animals due to liability and the safety of our animals.

Service animals are allowed but must be leashed on the property at all times and must not be left in the listing alone. Please do not allow your animals on the furniture.

Interaction with Guests:

We live on the property and so are available anytime.

This cabin was a nice change from staying in a hotel. It was clean, spacious, well supplied, quiet, and had a gorgeous view of the mountains.

Everything was spectacular. Beyond expectations. Clean, well equipped, very quiet, and very convenient to airport. Views fabulous. I almost hate to give such a glowing review as people will discover this gem and it will forever be booked.

Amazing! The hosts had the cabin fully equipped and prepared for us. It was clean, easy to get to, private and had beautiful views. If I could give it more stars I would.

We had the most wonderful stay at this stunning and charming cabin! We celebrated my birthday here and loved every moment — from sipping cocktails on the front porch to taking in the breathtaking views of the mountain range. After a few days in Yellowstone, it was such a treat to do some laundry, enjoy the delicious coffee thoughtfully provided, and relax in the incredibly comfortable bed. This cabin was the perfect mix of cozy, scenic, and peaceful. We’d absolutely stay here again!

These cabins are located within minutes of Bozeman, but you would never know it, as they are nestled within an agricultural valley with great mountain views. The aura is exactly the open range feeling that one would want at a Montana stay, including three friendly horses in the pasture in front of the cabins. Everything about the cabins is first class... from the flooring, fixtures, artwork, mattresses, towels, appliances. It is all very well done. Highly recommended.

My partner and I absolutely adored this little cabin. It's a little bit of a drive to come and go but that's exactly what we were looking for! The views were amazing, the property was spotless, and the owners were very responsive if we needed anything. We hope to come back and stay again!

Ross Creek Cabins is an amazing property. Karen and Steve did an outstanding job thinking of everything you during our stay. The house was laid out perfectly with a large laundry area and well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. The landscaping on the property is beautiful and the outside grills and fire pits allowed us to relax all evening. The Pump Room was a fun way to try a local beer and play a few games during the afternoons. ! highly recommend this for a quiet getaway or a great home base for the area.

We stayed at Ross Creek cabins three years ago and gave it a rave review then….only disappoint that year was how the smoke from fires obscured the view. Well this time we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise and sunset and even a rainbow! ? The landscaping enhances the cabins and makes it clear that the owners take great pride in their property. The interiors are spotless, with high quality materials and appliances. The communication is friendly and timely. The valley around Belgrade is lovely. I hope we can return soon to Ross Creek Cabins….

From the minute we pulled up to cabin number three, we knew we’d made a good decision on this reservation. Our stay was so perfect. We especially enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning watching the sunrise over the mountains. We would not change one thing in the cabin. I (Mary) am already scheming on how to arrange a return trip next summer. Thank you so much. Oops, I forgot to mention the landscaping. The flowers were especially beautiful.

This cabin and its remote location was the perfect escape for my husband and myself. The photos don't do it justice. The cabin was spotless and had everything you'd need for a night (or week) in. We loved hearing nothing but the bees buzzing, and enjoying the lovely breeze. Our only disappointment was that we booked for just one night. We wish we could have stayed for much longer. The next time we're in Montana, we will certainly book this cabin!

I can’t say enough about our visit to Ross Creek Cabins. Karen and Steve have put their heart and soul into the cabins and the eye for detail shows. The best part was probably morning coffee snuggled in a Pendleton blanket on the front porch watching the sun rise over Bridger Mountain. We also enjoyed hanging out having a beer and talking with the family and guests. Rebecca (Karen and Steve’s daughter) and her husband moseyed up on horseback and hung out too. We took day trips to Bozeman and Livingston but enjoyed making breakfast in the fully stocked cabins. The worst part was having to leave, there was a lull and peacefulness at Ross Creek Cabins that we needed. The quiet and tranquility were mesmerizing. Hope we get back again someday !
