Romantic Mt. Get-away~ 'Sunset cabin' has spectacular Mountain & Sunset views!

This was an amazing cabin to stay in. It had everything we needed, great communication. Beautiful sunsets, saw baby deer, nature and peace were all around. Great host family with amazing communication!!! We will certainly stay here again.

Loved staying at this cozy little cabin. It was the perfect relaxing long weekend getaway for our 20th Anniversary. Beautiful mountain views from a wrap around porch. Clean and comfortable with a rustic feel and all of the comforts of home.

The cabin is very cozy. The hot tub was awesome. Beautiful views and peaceful. The hosts are the best. We always have a wonderful time.

Very nice cabin. View was beautiful. Had everything you needed plus a hot tub. Close to Canaan, Seneca Rocks and Smoke HOLE. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Everything was absolutely amazing, from the decor, to the hosts and the incredible views! The cabin is in excellent condition, with a fully loaded kitchen. The hosts are warm and accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Cabin. The view from the deck was fantastic, and we really enjoyed spending time outside - BBQing, the fire pit, dining, etc! Everything was great and we could’ve used a few more days there. We’ll be planning a return trip!

Scenery was absolutely beautiful. Sunset cabin is at the top of the hill and great views of the mountains and, of course, the sunset. Enjoyed just relaxing on the porch. The cabin was very very well furnished. We had a great experience, we'll definitely stay again.

This is our second time staying here, the owners couldn’t be any better, just very nice people. The cabin and location are breathtaking, so peaceful and the views and cabin are just perfect for a relaxing get away. This area is just a hidden treasure with really cool small towns near by to visit and endless beauty. Can’t wait to return.

My Wife and I celebrated a personal milestone by spending a weekend at Sunset Cabin in Dryfork, WV. The hosts are amazing! The prenatal cabin is also amazing. And the scenery, views are not provided justice with the limited ability of photographs shared online. We were extremely pleased with the cabin; clean, quaint, remote, great location, and very reasonably priced. My Wife and I are expecting to return for another amazing visit. If you are looking for a quiet getaway for you and your partner, Sunset Cabin must be one of the locations on your list!

Everything was great except the main bedroom bed is way too high and too softOur backs didn’t enjoy the too softnes and my husband ending up sleeping upstairs the last night because he couldn’t sleep on it The hostesses were great and we enjoyed hiking the many trails nearby

Cabin was the best we ever were at. Very clean and had everything you would need plus some.Deer everyday. Hiked all over area. Hot tub was great afterwards.

Really enjoyed being in the country in the mountains did a lot of hiking and propose to my girlfriend to marry me love the hot tub seeing all the wildlife definitely wanna go back again

Sunset Cabin is a well appointed, cozy cabin with beautiful views. Neighbors are not too close. We watched the snow fall and the wind blow in front of the fireplace. Perfect!

This was the 4th time in 3 years we have come down to stay at Sunset on Cherry Ridge. Arrived during a blizzard warning with 60mph gusts but could care less. Once inside the cabin, all of the tumult, literally and figuratively, disappeared. It is the only place that my wife and I have stayed at where we immediately feel at home. Dan and Barb are more than rental hosts. They are the nicest people who you feel you’ve known forever.

This is our third trip to Dryfork and third time to stay in Sunset Cabin. We love this place. It’s like coming home. Dan and Barb are so good to check on us and keep us stocked with wood for the fireplace. They have always treated us like family. We are already thinking about our next trip.

There really isn’t much more to say outside of amazing. This place is so nice and welll appointed and the view from everywhere is unbelievable. Dan and Barb are the best for sure and we can’t wait to come back!

This Cabin was the perfect getaway for us! It felt like home the moment we walked in. We loved how rural it was and how cozy it felt! The views were amazing! Exactly as described. We appreciate how thoughtful the owners are! We had everything we needed. Spices for cooking, paper products, laundry, firewood and so much more. Their attention to the small details made our stay one of the best we have every had! Looking forward to staying again! Definitely need 4WD or chains for winter stay!

Peaceful, serene, breathtaking views, etc... Our stay was well worth the nine hour drive from SC! Barb and Dan are the best hosts and made us feel rite at home. We will be returning but instead of January we will be returning in the fall! Well worth the money. Thank you Barb and Dan, you two are the best!

The views at the cabin are absolutely beautiful. The cabin itself was cozy and up to date. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay. I cannot express how stunning the night sky is here. Wonderful for stargazing!

Great central location to many beautiful hikes. Very charming cabin, perfect for two. Hosts have thought of every detail to make our stay pleasant and were very attentive to make sure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. The views from the cabin were breathtaking! The setting is very peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for! Excellent experience! Would love to return!
