Wow! This is our New Family Home and we are excited to share it with you! Overlooking the Beautiful Iotla Valley in the Great Smoky Mountains this cabin home has exemplary accommodations and many extras.
Located just 6 miles from Franklin Center this beautiful cabin is perched on a mountain top with two wrap around covered porches complete with panoramic views on all sides. Rocking chairs, porch swings and picnic tables provide relaxing outdoor space for conversing, reading, relaxing andbreathing in the clean mountain air.
The property is surrounded by farmland and a 20 acre horse farm. No sounds of traffic. Just the sounds of horses and cows mooing. Fantastic sunrises and sunsets lead to a sparkling sky full of stars. The city lights visible from the porches will take your breath away.
In 2015, my husband and I hiked 85 miles on the Appalachian and ended up in Franklin. We fell in love with the area and in 2017 we bought our 'dream come true' cabin.
Whether you are new to Franklin or if you discovered this amazing area years ago, your vacation is guaranteed to be incredible! White water rafting, hiking, fishing, zip lines, canoeing, and antiquing are just a few of the many activities right in your backyard. Just minutes from Downtown Franklin, visit numerous antique shops, amazing restaurants, pubs and festivals. Having fun and making memories is a sure thing! Cathedral ceiling in main floor living space, rock fireplace with wood burning stove and 50” Smart TV encourages laid back relaxation on our super comfy sofa. Three levels include huge loft master king suite with private bath and walk-in closet, two additional queen bedrooms with accompanying bathrooms. First floor family room has queen sleeper. Main level and lower level family rooms have access to covered wrap around porches and amazing views. Half hour drive to local small towns like Sylva, Bryson City, Dillard and Cherokee Casino. Asheville is less than an hour drive!

Mountain road/driveway is on top of mountain and is curvy and steep. (Welcome to the Smoky Mountains) Driveway is paved, however, we recommend four wheel drive or chains during snow months. Parking for four cars and additional parking space located at bottom of drive.
