River Cottage

The river cottage was a blast very beautiful very peaceful we lived our stay

We had a wonderful time here. The view and location were exactly what we had hoped for during our family trip, peaceful and relaxing.

The River Cottage worked great for us on our ski trip to Wolf Creek. Check-in/Check-out was super easy. Cabin was neat and tidy. Plenty of blankets, pillows and kitchen supplies.

The host was very welcoming and responsive. The place is great for a small family or a few couples. It's a very cozy place that has been well taken care of and has a lot to offer. The back yard view is spectacular and the access to the river is even better. The kitchen is fully stocked if you plan to cook, and the bathroom is updated which is great. The bedrooms are furnished with TV's and ROKU which is a plus and the WIFI works perfectly. The mattresses feel a little springy and heater takes a minute to warm up the place but there's a fireplace if you care to use it along with the heater.This is the perfect place to stay if you're visiting South Fork Area.Overall Rating - Definitely worth staying. Excellent location for fishing. Good location for skiing Wolf Creek.

Great, cozy cabin, perfectly suited to our low-key Thanksgiving getaway! Very peaceful neighborhood this time of year, enjoyed the river right outside! The cabin, with the wood burning fireplace and other amenities suited our needs perfectly and made for some great memories!

Great relaxing refreshing

Great cabin experience. Super clean and not very close to the other cabins/houses. Right on the river, we fished a few times right next to the cabin.

Beautiful location, very peacefull! Setting on the deck and listening to the river is very relaxing. My husband especially enjoyed being able to fish in the river. Cabin is nice, very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. It was really nice having a washer & dryer. Only disappointments were that the two downstairs beds were not at all comfortable & the person that cleans the cabin doesn't do a very good job. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay

Once more, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the River Cabin. This was our 5th stay and it never fails to bring relaxation and beauty.

It was an amazing trip. The house was very well furnished. It had everything we needed. It was very clean and we had no issues. Just steps from the river and we enjoyed fishing and just relaxing in the hammock listening to the river.

It was a perfect getaway for myself, my husband & daughter. The weather was amazing. The nature was unbelievable. We were able to see a bear. Lots of deer a couple of foxes bald eagle so many beautiful birds. It was amazing. We certainly will be going back. We’ve already decided. We are moving to the area and we have a plan to do so within the next three years we look forward to coming to visit during the winter time next.

This was our 4th visit to the River Cottage. Every year we have come here to get away from the fast pace of the city. The river fishing, hummingbirds feeding and starry nights always do the trick!
