Beautiful place, so quiet and relaxing!

Amazing cabin!! Thank you for letting us stay! The hot tub was perfect!

This cabin exceeded our expectations. Away from main thoroughfares we were able to enjoy the silence of the mountains.

Great host and property. High up the mountain and secluded, nice and quiet. Clean and cozy. The stars at night are unbelievable. The hot tub was also a nice touch. Would stay again.

My partner and I stayed here for a few days before seeing Brandi Carlile at Red Rocks. The property (wood burning stove and hot tub were two of the many wonderful amenities) and scenery (my partner saw a moose very close to the deck) were great!What I want to highlight in this review, however, is the host Chris’s fantastic responsiveness! Before and during our stay, I sent questions to Chris. He always responded quickly and with helpful answers. Plus, he has a couple YouTube videos that help answer potential questions. Thanks Chris!The one thing I didn’t see in the property listing or other reviews (I might have missed it) is the property location is above 11,000 feet. My partner and I never fully adjusted, but we still had a great experience.

This was a great property! High up in the mountains, secluded and quiet. Check in process was a breeze. Communication was excellent from the property manager. The property was exactly as described in the listing and better than I could’ve imagined.I will definitely be looking at reserving this place again.

We had a great time at the rental. House is comfortable with many amenities. Lots of nature surrounds and many interesting birds will visit, including many hummingbirds. Quick 20 min walk to Pika trailhead and a short drive to many surrounding trails. Chris was super responsive to anything we needed. The house layout is perfect for families with kids that want a separate zone, or even just a group that wants some alone time. I’ve stayed many places along the Divide and this is one of our favorites.

We saw moose several different days including a mother/baby. Enjoyed the house and the kitchen just had everything we could need. I'm assuming other guests were kind and left staples behind, so we tried to pay it forward as well. Comfy beds and really nice bathrooms. Thx for being flexible on letting us stay another night! My son and I had a wonderful stay in Fairplay. We were looking for a cabin in the mountains that was remote and yet close to activities, and this cabin delivered in every way. The cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The views were amazing and the cabin was perfectly located. Chris was extremely responsive and provided us with great suggestions on places to visit and things to do. Anyone looking for a great time in the mountains, this cabin will deliver!

We had a nice time visiting Fairplay. The house was nice and clean. The owner was very good about communication and responded quickly to any questions we had. The deck was lovely and had a beautiful view, unfortunately there were too many mosquitoes outside, so we couldn’t use the deck much (can’t control nature). One of the mattresses was a little hard but we managed. It was nice being somewhere a little more remote but beware you will be driving on a lot of gravel roads to get there. Overall, we had a very good stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in the valley of the sun. Hours of enjoyment were gained just relaxing and watching the hummingbirds. The views of mt. Silverheels are amazing. The home has everything you could need to move in. Good access to the area but away from everything and very quiet.
