Relaxing, Cozy, Beautiful 3 BR Log Cabin in Blowing Rock/Boone NC

Great stay! Clean roomy and overall great stay . Road in was just as described… but worth it. Pleanty of room for our group of 10. Only small thing I didn’t think to ask about coffee maker and brought wrong kind . No biggy since shopping is right up the road .

A excellent cabin to relax and spend time in family.

This was an perfect venue for a family gathering—especially for families with children—plenty of games and toys to play with. Beds comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels. Five minutes from downtown Boone and 10 minutes to mainstreet Blowing Rock. Host was easy to communicate with and answered all questions immediately. Would stay again!

We had a great weekend here with three families for a soccer tournament. The price was excellent. The area was easy to navigate to. There was some steep hills, but it was worth it to be up in the privacy of the mountain. It was a quick trip into blowing rock and Boone. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Maureen was very communicative leading up to my trip about worsening winter weather. I had a bachelors trip I planned with about 9 guys, from check in to check out everything was smooth. Maureen was helpful and responsive when I had questions for her. The cabin was very nice and was a cozy place for our group to stay. Close to Boone and Appalachian Ski Mountain, our weekend staying here was a success.

Near all activities

Great house for a friend’s weekend! Easy access to Tweetsie, Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the large dining table. I also was glad to see the ice melt on the porch as we had ice and snow while we were there. All of us were talking about how we’d gladly stay here again. Thanks!

The house is nice and very comfortable. It would have been nice if the front porch had useable furniture, the benches are pretty but not for sitting. The back porch stayed wet everyday and we love being 'porch sitters '. The kitchen could use lots more coffee cups.

Great house for relaxing in the mountains. The house has three floors that allows for plenty of space to spread out among multiple generations of visitors. The house is located only minutes from most attractions.

Great time. Visited Tweetsie Railroad's Day Out with Thomas for our toddler. The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. Loved it!

Place was clean and quiet

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home is so spacious and well-taken care of. The owner was so responsive and kind. She was helpful through the entire process. The rooms had plenty of space for sleeping. We had 7 adults and 3 children, and would’ve had space for more if needed. Highly recommend!

Super close to downtown boone, lots to do in the area! House was clean upon arrival and accomodated every age range in our group.

The home is all you see online, all the photos and more! Impeccably kept and clean. Beautifully styled and furnished. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms. Cabin is amazing. Host Maureen is awesome. Fast response and very helpful. Cabin is very nice and close to many attractions. We will for sure prefer host when we revisit.

Wonderfull large cabin. Fantastic setting and location! Beautiful home and very clean. Plenty of parking. Water pressure and temperature could use adjusting with a few updated touches in the kitchen. Great place for our large family holiday weekend.

Great home in a great location! Close to Blowing Rock and Boone. Lots of space for the kids, clean and cozy. Would look into renting again if we plan on going back to the area.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend at Alpine Cottage tremendously! Prior to our stay, the owners were great in communicating about possible road issues due to Hurricane Helene. We were very thankful for all of the updates, and to know that our travel should not be impeded by the time our arrival date arose. The kitchen was well stocked which was crucial for preparing our Thanksgiving meal. We appreciated the ample sleeping areas, and cozy living room for just lounging around. The views were spectacular and the location was ideal for local shopping and dining (although we did not eat out during our stay). We would definelty consider this location again.
