Relaxing Cabin Near Hiking, Fishing & Lake of Egypt

Chris and Nicole are excellent hosts; they were so responsive throughout our stay and made the entire process very seamless. This little cabin was just the right size for our family of four and they offered a bunch of little extras, such as spices and laundry supplies. Beyond all of that, the property is so quiet and peaceful and they have a lovely deck that you can just sit out and enjoy the view.

The cabin was clean and had an easy check in process. There was a binder with helpful information and recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing. The kitchen was stocked with lots of essentials: Pots and pans, bakeware, cooking tools and spices. There was even a Keurig which our boys used for hot chocolate. When we arrived there was issue with the heater, Chris and Nicole responded right away and took care of it. It was quiet and the perfect getaway for our family of five. Would recommend this beautiful cabin!

Beautiful and homey cabin in the woods overlooking the river. Paper products, towels and linens, coffee, tea, and sugar, all the basic necessities provided. Hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had everything that we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin, and would absolutely return. Great little cabin near the water. There isn’t great access to the water directly from the cabin. But the area around seems to be in the process of being built up. The Fire-pit with the string lights over top was a nice added touch that made hanging outside more enjoyable. The kitchen supplies were very nice considering the size and price point. Overall well worth the stay. I will plan on coming again soon!

We had a great stay at this cute cabin! The property is quiet and peaceful, with lovely surroundings. The cabin itself has so many thoughtful touches throughout. It was very comfortable and well-stocked, even basic spices, cooking oil, and tupperware were provided, which made meal prep so easy. We especially appreciated the firewood being supplied for the outdoor fire pit. Everything was clean, cozy, and just as pictured. Highly recommend!

Cute place that allowed us to be near Camp Ondessonk but also allowed us to hike and explore nearby wineries. The place had a great design that made it feel large, welcoming, and cozy. Also, Nicole was very attentive and accommodating.
