Relax on the River and Enjoy Southeast Iowa's Beauty

This cabin has become one of our families favorite places to get away and relax. The owners are absolutely amazing. 5 stars all the way!!

Our family of 4 plus dog enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable with plenty of linens provided. The view of the river was beautiful to wake up to and proximity to all the villages of Van Buren was great as we were there for Fall festival. A great getaway for us. Thanks!

Hosts were very accommodating!

Cozy little cabin that was great for a little couples weekend. The screened in porch overlooking the river was lovely for relaxing and reading. Keep in mind that the driveway has a pretty steep decline so you may not want to drive a low riding vehicle. Also the railing for the loft is pretty open so you'd have to keep an eye on small children.

We all enjoyed our stay. Setup was very nice. We plan to come back next year.

The cabin has a neighbor who lives next door. I met him and had a brief conversation. He seemed like a very nice person. The kitchen is small, but I found everything I needed. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and will likely return in the future.

Awesome little cabin for long weekend away, but still big enough for our family of 6. Kids loved being able to walk out the door and fish the river. We really enjoyed the screened in porch. Hostess was great to work with and super responsive, everything we needed was provided. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed staying at the cabin for our fishing trip! Our older kids loved the loft and we all really enjoyed the covered sunroom!! Can’t beat the location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. I wish it was further away from the main road. But it is fine. Hostess bent over back wards to make sure our needs were met. Plan to come back.

It was a delightful getaway retreat. The host was very responsive and friendly. The rainy weather didn’t really allow for use of the fire pit, but the screened porch was a great place to watch the river and relax.

We love coming to this cabin! It is private (only 1 neighbor), quiet, close to town if needed, and everyone we met in the area was so friendly! We had a great time and will return for a third time!

My group of 3 stay during the second season of the gun season. Kellie has been wonderful. Very accommodating and communicative. Great place for us to relax after a long day in the woods. We are pretty easy going guys, but we know if we need assistance, Kellie will be there. Highly recommend!

Great 4 night stay! Kellie very responsive & even offered short trip suggestions (Make sure you go to Dutchman's!). Clean, quiet, stocked with all essentials............just watch that driveway!!

We love this property and have been 3 years in a row. We mostly just hang out outside by the river and fire and relax. We have also dined in town, shopped at the local stores and hiked at Lacey-Keosaqua park. We'll be back next year!

I can’t say enough about how lovely this place is. Stunning views and sunsets from the screened in porch. Comfy beds, great kitchen. This place is a gem.

Everything was just as promised. Lovely view of the Des Moines River from the large screened in porch. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Excellent communication with the owner. A great location to relax or explore the villages of Van Buren county. We’d do it again!

We loved our stay at this cabin. They literally have everything there that you will need (well you might want to bring some firewood depending on their supply). The cabin is cute and cozy. Our first night it was extremely hot outside and the air conditioner did well. It is so close to the river, with a great view, and very peaceful! We will definitely be back!

This is our 3rd year staying at the cabin. Always have a good time and the hosts are very accomodating.

We were unable to flush toilet paper; therefore we all tried to not have bm's. The showerhead was totally loose. Bedbugs were found in the downstairs area. For the cost, it was disappointing. However we did love the outside area and the screened in porch
