We also have a boat ramp about 300 yards from the cabin. We are a minute drive from the famous Van Buren county that has multiple unique things to offer. Come relax and enjoy the great outdoors!

Stayed Aug 10, 2025Had an amazing experience. Right by the Des Moines river. Owners are terrific. Nice quiet area to go and stay to get away from the busy and loud everyday life. Beds were very comfortable to sleep in. My kids loved every minute of our stay and want to go back. 10/10 for my family!

Stayed Mar 27, 2025The cabin was perfect for our weekend hiking trip. The cabin was just as advertised and the host was very responsive with any questions I had. We cooked three delicious meals on the blackstone while enjoying the beautiful view of the river. We would definitely book this place again.

Stayed Aug 23, 2024The front window was shattered and not replaced. They didn't tell us that. They didn't contact me at all about my concerns. You can't fish onsite. You can't watch TV unless you bring your own devices. It doesn't sleep more than 4 people. The 1990 sofa will break your tailbone on the support structure.It was a great house with a great view in a great location with 6 cats.
