Completely renovated log cabin located on the beautiful Sturgeon River. Cabin originally built in the 1940's and remodeled in 2021. It has the charm of the old cabin but with updated inside, plumbing, electric, furnishings and amenities. Reed's on the River is located on 350 ft. of the Sturgeon River with 6 other cabins on the property to rent. All cabins have unobstructed views of the river where you can fish or end your tubing/kayaking adventure at your front door.

Stayed Oct 5, 2024Such a nice little spot and just what we needed for our weekend stay up North. We loved the location, it was close to everything and it was a great place to relax in our private spot directly on the river. Owners were flexible and communicative and very friendly. Would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed Sep 17, 2022Highly recommend these cabins. Sweet little spot by a slow meandering stream. Wonderful restaurant up the road; Vivios. Excellent pizza! Felt like I was back at camp for a few days. Willl return again.

Stayed Jul 30, 2022Our family stopped for the night on the way back from Mackinac Island. We were pleasantly surprised by these wonderful cabins. The river setting is a great for dinners by the fire. We are planning a return trip soon!

Stayed Sep 10, 2021Our family came up to attend a wedding and this cabin rental more than met our needs. It was very clean and nicely stocked. Decor was cute, too. Very responsive owners and super quick and easy check in. We even got a text the cabin was ready for check in earlier than expected.
