The cabin was very charming and in the IDEAL location for our fly fishing family vacation. The Henry’s Fork flows past the north side of this development, the Buffalo River is just a few miles south, and the Madison River is a short drive west. The cabin was finished and decorated very beautifully, but overall it was a lot smaller cabin than we expected. Bedroom 4 was a walkway around the stairwell with 2 twin beds on the floor. We assumed bedroom meant an area with a closed door, so this made privacy a little awkward for those family members. All the mattresses and bedding were VERY comfortable, which we really appreciated after long cold days on the water. The huge brass rainhead shower heads were luxurious, and the heated towel bars were a cool feature. We were really looking forward to the hot tub, but the breaker kept tripping, so the water was lukewarm, which was disappointing. Our host was very responsive about instructing us on resetting the breaker, but because it kept tripping, we couldn’t keep the water heated up to a comfortable temperature. We really enjoyed our stay near Island Park, and we can’t wait to return to the area.
