Rathbun Lake, Deer Run Rental, & Fully Furnished Cabin!

Wonderful place. Only reason I didn’t give everything 5 stars was one of the reasons I chose this place was it was close to the lake and on the satellite images it showed a path to drive on back to the lake area. I am moderately disabled so the steps on the house were hard to mitigate and the driving path to get to the water is blocked off and unusable. The home itself provided everything and was in a beautiful locale. However you will drive for quite a while if you need or forget something for your stay.

Nice place tucked away from everything. 10 minute walk to the lake.

Wonderful place. Plenty of room. Had everthing we needed. Only down side was that path to lake is nearly 2 miles. Since member of party disabled they were unable to walk to lake.

The cabin was very clean and cozy and perfect for 6 adults and a dog. We had quick response from the host and will definitely rent again.

We enjoyed the house and host. The reason we gave it good instead of excellent is because of gravel road and WiFi issues. The host was very nice and accommodating. Would recommend this VRBO.

We enjoyed boating and fishing on the lake. It was too hot outside to enjoy a backyard fire but would have if cooler. The place was clean and perfect for our family of four. Would stay again.

We had a great time here! The walking path to the beach was nice, but it was getting a little over grown the farther we went in, but easy to find and follow. The beach had some weeds as well, but the dogs enjoyed cooling off in the water. The ticks were bad, but thats expected. The dogs are treated, but we forgot our bug spray. Fortunately we were able to drive about 10min into tien to the bp gas station and purchase some. Overall, it was nice, quiet area for a weekend away.

Great place, so glad we chose this one since there are many in the area. Was equipped with everything we needed and then some! Thank you!

Great location to Rathbun Lake ,easy access to boat ramps,bait shops and dining.House was roomy,clean felt like home with a big yard with a firepit and semi remote area would like to stay again the future!

This place was perfect for our needs! Four of us stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every thing about the rental house. Owners VERY quick to respond after I lost the door code to enter. LOL.

excellent communication with the owner.Only concern was the cooking tools and pots and pans.need a new can opener.great stay.. very quiet.thanks

The home was beautiful and amazing . Quite , peaceful location . Amenities provided was wonderful . Love the barbecue, patio , and yard . The backyard fire pit was wonderful for s’mores . We will be returning and definitely will tell friends that this is highly recommended to stay for a retreat ! Thank You for such amazing experience

Enjoyed our stay. Check in was smooth. Cabin was clean with a well stocked kitchen for family dinners. Sheets and towels were clean and well stocked. Enjoyed hiking to the lake and family time around the fire pit. Would definitely visit again. Thanks again Scott!

I stayed here with my mother and daughter- We enjoyed staying at the Deer Run Rental. We were in the area for a wedding at Emerald Hills Events so we were busy and didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked but I would absolutely return in the future. It felt very homey and comfortable inside with plenty of cooking supplies and a grill, comfortable beds, and even extra blankets and beach towels. Very quiet, lots of nature to see, the path down to the lake was beautiful we enjoyed wading and walking along the lake.

Excellent property close to Lake Rathbun. House was clean and in a nice area with easy access to get the boat to the boat ramp and plenty of room to park it in the evening.

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a bday with family and friends. The cabin had everything we needed and the location was great. It was clean and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and etc. We really enjoyed it and plan to hopefully return next summer!
