Rare mountain-view log home with hot tub, fireplace & WiFi - near Breckenridge

Amazing place and well priced in my opinion. Outstanding views and close enough to Breckenridge (20 min). Only thing that needs attention is the couch, other than that, this place is perfect.

Beautiful cabin on a quiet mountainside overlooking a valley. Great stay. Acoustics from top floor to 2nd floor leaves a little to be desired, but that is the only thing we noticed that wasn’t top notch. Great hot tub and the wrap around deck is the highlight. Great stay! Hope to be back.

We absolutely loved our week there! The views are stunning! A little hard to breathe the first night, but we brought oxygen cans and that was a lifesaver! We cooked there every day and made fantastic memories !

Great property right by the divide

Loved the cabin, location..felt like we were tucked away by ourselves but were able to access towns nearby. Had a great stay and if we are ever in CO again we will stay there!!! Loved the hot tub in the evenings on the deck to relax in.

Beautiful location. Best mountain views out of all the locations we’ve stayed at in this area. The house needs a little TLC. There are some appliances with broken parts, railing outside with broken or missing posts, wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. No book with info on the house like most provide.

This place was cute and the veiws were stunning. However, the house needs some love and care. The dining table was broken and wobbly, the couches were stained, the dishes and grill were filthy, and each bathroom was dirty and in need of renovation. This house absolutly has the potential to be cute but was lacking in some much needed renovations.

Picture do no justice the place is Beautiful Breathtaking. The drive up was a bit of a chalk with snow and start turns but with a 4 wheel drive you should be fine. Loved every minute

My friends and I absolutely loved this property! Gorgeous views, very spacious, and very cozy. There were 5 of us and we had so much room to spread out but also plenty of room to be together whenever we would eat dinner, play games, or relax in the living room or on the patio. There were a ton of cooking supplies in the kitchen which was extremely helpful when making meals for all of us. The views were incredible and the energy was so serene. The neighborhood is perfect for getting away and relaxing. The trails nearby are also gorgeous and relatively easy. Alma is a perfect location for a mountain getaway. My only complaints were that some of the cleaning utensils were not cleaned properly and it seemed like some other things like the bedding and toilets were missed when the house was last cleaned before our stay. The other thing I wish was checked (or probably needs to be replaced) is the DVD player in the living room. We tried watching movies and the DVD player did not work. The smart TV downstairs also was locked and logged into someone else’s account. I would love to come back here again and I hope that these issues are addressed so that we can enjoy our stay even more!

We wanted quiet, clean, and roomy accommodations. This rental checked all the boxes for us. It is located about 10 miles outside of the town of Breckenridge - which was just what we wanted - not too close/not too far. The town and people we met we all very friendly and welcoming. We loved the spaciousness of the home and its charm were excellent!

The house itself was lovely. Very comfortable and accommodated all of our guests. The view was unmatched. There were a few amenities and details that need attention, though. The hot tub was very murky when we showed up, the fireplace did not work, the stereo did not work, there was not a guest booklet with helpful information, there were four broken Adirondack chairs on the patio, and the yard was a little messy with trash and random sleds that hadn’t been picked up since winter apparently. Vaasa was quick with automated text messages, but follow through was a little disappointing. We are still waiting for Vacasa to refund us for the loss of our fireplace amenity. And during that time, it gets a little annoying when Vaasa constantly texts and emails me to write a review. We all had a fantastic time, and I hate to be negative at all… But a place this nice just needs a tad more attention to detail to eliminate the guests having to reach out to the management staff so often. I would very much love to stay here again, as long as the details are attended to.

We enjoyed the location as it was really close to Breckenridge, but up, up and away from the hustle-bustle. Beautiful property with spectacular views. We had a great time and enjoyed doing the puzzles and using the foosball table.
