Could not have asked for a better stay! Great communication, location, and well kept cabin. Would definitely stay here again!

This was my second time staying there. It’s just a great spot middle of nowhere but close to everything. That best part was somehow I messed up the reservation and got there a day earlier than it was reserved for. Not only was he able to get me in there that day, but I was able to check in early. It was a great stay. I’ll be back.

This cabin was perfect for our family for graduation weekend. The kitchen and living space is great. The front porch has rockers and is the absolute best place to see the countryside, the cows, and the birds. So peaceful! The host was very easy to communicate with and we even got to meet him one afternoon. There are two bedrooms plus a couch in the living room. It worked for us. We will definitely consider this place again if we have a small group.

This cabin is part of a small community of cabins, well-spaced from one another in a rural area close to Boone and its amenities. We were staying in the area in part for the MerleFest bluegrass festival in Wilkesboro, and we found the drive back and forth quite manageable. The cabin itself sits one story above the parking area and features a spacious great room (living space, dining area and kitchen), as well as two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The host is efficient and unobtrusive (we did not see him duing our six days at the cabin), but he is prompt to respond to texts and his communications were very clear. We would book again.

Cozy, immaculately clean cabin. Perfect in every way. Great views and a cozy space. We were snowed in and Chris offered to go to the store for us. He is a wonderful host. Highly recommend. One of the best VRBOs we have ever had.

Very clean and excellent host esp when I messed up my reservation and he easily fixed it for me within an hr of showing up. Highly recommend staying here. We had 2 smaller girls and they loved roaming the property and the stream

Cabin was extra clean. would have been nice to have body bath soap and not little small soap bars. Sheets were extremely thin. Bed slept good. Towels and wash cloths were not up to expectation. Never been required to empty dishwasher befor we left before,

The cabin is as advertised. Very clean, very comfortable, the owner was helpful when I had trouble with the lock on the door. I would come again and recommend it.

We came up to Boone with our teenage daughters for a weekend. This cabin was perfect! Quiet, spacious, and very clean. We enjoyed the large front porch for morning coffee and reading as well as the wonderful hot tub. We will be back!

Wanted to getaway for our anniversary. The cabin was the perfect destination. We had a wonderful weekend relaxing, reconnecting, and refreshing. Oh!!! We loved the cows too!!

Daughter was graduating from App State. The cabin was close to the university and was great for having a celebration brunch after an 9am graduation.

The property is perfect for our mountain stay. Gorgeous views of the farm and mountain beyond. The house is always clean and comfortable. We’ve been coming here for years. Close to groceries, easy access to Boone and West Jefferson and the Blue Ridge Parkway, though it was still under some repairs from hurricane.

I will start with what was great about the cabin. The location is close to downtown, the hot tub is great, the master bed is so comfortable and the host is wonderful. There are some things that could use an upgrade such as the BBQ really should be gas. In the description it was charcoal but the grill next to our cabin was almost falling apart and not having gas grill is really difficult. The kitchen could have used some more updated supplies and utensils. If you are looking for a no frills and easily location cabin, then this is for you. As mentioned, the host was wonderful

This peaceful home is immaculate. It had everything we needed. Having a clean hot tub after a day of hiking was a bonus. We highly recommend this highly me.
