Rabbit Creek Hideaway Secluded less then 2.5 miles from town!

The place was great. So quiet and peaceful. Close to a variety of things to do from rock hunting to the casino. We will defintely be back.

It’s a very cute cabin with easy access a nice view and overall comfortable and relaxing. Very clean, well equipped, minutes to town and overall very nice. The only reason for 4 stars is that in the title and description they say “secluded”, but it’s not. Directly behind the cabin is a road, like 30 feet away, across the field/pasture is another road and there is quite a bit of car noise. The roasts aren’t super busy but busy enough to where it should be called out.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Rabbit Creek Hideaway. It was so relaxing and felt like home. The host was super thoughtful and even left a jar of their homemade jam for us. The cabin was also very convenient to all the shopping, but still felt secluded. Our favorite part was probably sitting on the back porch and watching the cows down in the pasture. If we ever go back to that area, we would love to stay there again.

We loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay. The personal touches were so welcoming and we appreciated the jar of homeade jam! The cabin is in a GREAT location and so close to everything we wanted to do during our visit.

This place is absolutely perfect. The cabin is lovely, the view very relaxing, and Franklin being just around the corner is the icing on the cake.

Everything was perfect. Cozy lidtte cabin is serene setting with beautiful view of the mountains from the screened-in porch. It was clean, well appointed and comfortable. We would definitely consider returning if we come back this way.

If you want small & quaint, but dont want to feel boxed in...this is for you! If you want rustic & homey...this is for you! This is our 3rd stay but not our last!!! We have always enjoyed ourselves! **No strong smells or chemical smells!

Beautifully appointed! They thought of everything. A cozy cabin with a great gas fireplace. They thought of everything, including binoculars!! Can’t wait to get back.

Very comfortable cabin with beautiful view of the mountains. Kitchen was well equipped. Hosts made everything easy and added personal touches like our names on the stockings hung from the mantle. Christmas decorations were pretty. Very convenient location and easy to find.

a very quiet and beautiful house to rest

We had another wonderful weekend at the cabin. From the mornings on the screened porch enjoying nature and our surroundings with a cup of coffee, to a fun morning downtown, to our afternoon in the warm, cozy and comfortable den, to our evening spent down in the game room having fun and a little competition; our weekend was perfect. Our hosts provided many thoughtful extras that added to make the cabin so comfy and make it feel like home. Our grandson enjoyed the loft where he could spend his time. Our hosts went above and beyond and they made sure our time at their cabin was welcoming and a place for us to make memories.Thanks so much!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rabbit Creek Hideaway! The listing and photos were very accurate, the cabin was extremely clean and the location was perfect for us (private, but so close to town). It was well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was quick to respond when I had a question prior to our trip. A nice surprise was the personalized note and a jar of handmade jam that was waiting for us! Will definitely book this cabin or with this host again when staying in Franklin.

Absolutely as described, very cozy cabin secluded but still fairly close to everything. Jeanette was wonderful, even left us a jar of her carrot cake jam very nice touch. Very clean cabin.

We loved everything about the cabin- from the magical driveway to the coziness of the interior to the relaxing screened in porch. It was a pure delight! Spotless and well appointed- even down to the frozen can in the freezer to throw away your hot grease! Thank you for sharing your obviously well loved and cared for getaway!

Great cabin in the mountains close to Franklin NC mines.

Heaven on Earth!!!

This was truly a 'cabin in the mountains' experience. The inside is so charming, clean and comfortable. Easy to get to, yet very private and not far at all from downtown, grocery stores and restaurants. While at the cabin, we spent most of our time on the screened in porch enjoying the beautiful mountain view. We even challenged each other to a game of darts and ping pong in the basement game room. And yes, the carrot cake jam is delicious! Definitely would go back!

We enjoyed the quiet of the area no matter what time of day we were rocking on the screened porch. The cabin is in a great location to have a fun day trip then return to the quiet.

The cabin was close to town yet felt like a secret hideaway! Very clean and homey. Lots of games, puzzles, table games, but we spent most time on the screen porch watching the cows, birds, and wildlife. Nice shower with plentiful hot water and strong pressure--have stayed in fancy hotels with a poorer shower than this one! Cozy loft and 2nd bathroom upstairs. Well equipped kitchen (bring coffee/tea and water if you're not used to well water) for staying in and cooking. One of those places you hate to leave when your time is up. Definitely will return!

Cozy cabin, great views, cool basemwnt with lotd of ganes, very convenient to downtown. Pleasantly surprised by the home made cartot cake jam from the hostess, it was delicious.

Cute little cabin. Very clean with very clear instructions on using TV, Washing machine and dryer, etc...very close to town and restaurants. Loved watching the cows every morning and afternoon. The view from the top deck was beautiful, but, could use some trimming of trees to get the mountains in view when sitting on the top deck. The game room was fun! We would have Ping Pong matches during the day when we weren't on the motorcycle..plenty of games down stairs. The bottom deck is nice and cooler sitting than on the top deck. The only draw back is the over growth of bushes and trees....a very cute little cabin and would stay again there. The owners are very friendly and answer your questions when needed...Also, the owner makes lotions, chapstick, salve,all organic, beeswax, flowers and vanilla flavoring, pocket books, picture plaques, and the jams are so good!!! Her things are in the cabin, if you want to purchase...I bought all my family and friends gifts from her....The lotions and salve feel really good on your skin....

The cabin is secluded but close to town. Some of the best sleep I have had in ages. Comfortable cozy.

When you pull into the long driveway, it feels like you are entering a secret garden. Sitting on the screened in porch taking in the view and watching the cows graze in the field below was very relaxing. The inside is comfortable and inviting. There is a manual with guidance and information needed for your stay. My only concerns were the parking (which is only an issue if you have more than one car then having to back out of the driveway) and the water which had a strong metallic smell and stayed that way for our stay. I didn't want to drink it, and the smell lingered on us, for example, after washing out hands.

Everything was great

We were so busy rock hounding that we didn’t spend as much time at the cabin as originally planned, however it is an amazing place and the communication was stellar. We would highly recommend it to everyone.

Tucked away off the beaten path lies this lovely two story with a basements that has almost everything you would ever need. A place to sleep, get clean, even games to play. Everything is laid out and explained thoroughly It honestly felt like a second home!

We had an amazing time at Rabbit Creek! The cabin was centrally located, clean and perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed the game room thoroughly and the views from the porch. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This was our family's first vacation away from home for Christmas. We couldn't have imagined it any better then it was. Cabin was not hard to find. Upon arrival, everything was just as shown in the pictures. I believe a little better then the pictures. The house was fully decorated for the holidays with a beautiful Christmas tree and stockings above the fire mantel with our names on them. The decorations in the house were beautiful. All the older items in the house were pretty neat. The house was very clean when getting there. The kitchen has many options for cooking when it comes to pots and pans. The king size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable for the stay. Downstairs in the game room was a great bonus. We had so much fun playing air hockey and darts. And my son learned how to play ping pong! And they have some options of games in the closet and all of us was fond of domino's. The porch has a great view. Sitting in the sun and sipping on hot chocolate with the kids. Listening to the farm animals making noise. Very peaceful. Not far from lots of stores and restaurants. And if you like the outdoors, there is plenty of adventures near by. Short hikes to beautiful waterfalls. Snow tubing and ice skating. Some mountain coaster's. . . We really enjoyed our time in Franklin. Our host was very friendly from the time we rented there cabin, until it was time to check in. They have very detailed instructions about different sections of the home. That was nice also.

So much to say about the cabin !!!! It was hands down great for a girls trip! The hostess was so friendly and welcoming! If there was a problem with anything they had little notes that could help you out of the situation . Anything and everything was right there. Hopefully we get to come back next year.

We enjoyed our stay!

This cabin is always a perfect getaway for us. We both have December birthdays so we both enjoy the opportunity for few calm days in this nice, quiet, cozy cabin. Oh yeah, the host’s jams and jellies make excellent gifts for friends. All in all, two thumbs up.

This little cabin was absolutely wonderful for my wife and I to stay at in the mountains. The view is beautiful and it is very cutely decorated inside. There were so many thoughtful touches that made it a step above other places we've stayed. Basement has a variety of games to help keep kids active (and off screens) like foosball, ping pong and others. The fireplace is delightful and actually throws a lot of heat. The only thing to watch out for is the driveway is easy to miss (little gravel road) and Google maps hasn't figured this out yet. Look for the reflector post on the road and once you know what to look for it's easy. Parking for more than one car might be a little tricky but doable. We definitely want to stay again for a quiet retreat in the mountains.

We came here to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary and this little cabin was ideal. Conveniently located close to town but still secluded and private, the setting was perfect for us. We could sit on the back porch overlooking the mountains and watch cows grazing in the valley below. The gas logs provided a cozy atmosphere in the early morning chill. I almost wish we had brought a couple of grandchildren with us to take advantage of the wonderful game room in the basement and the story book upstairs to this wonderful cabin!

Great place! Always enjoy our stay. We'll keep coming back. That was our 5th stay.

It was a very nice place. Lots of room and different games available to play, a nice screened in porch. The hot water and heater in the bathroom were great. Just the heater part of the HVAC unit in the bedroom needs better instructions, could not get it to work. Also the door alarm is tricky to set.

The cabin was utterly delightful. It was well stocked with everything we might need. It had many books, games, jigsaw puzzles. The screen porch and the swing were wonderful with a gorgeous view. I totally recommend this cabin for four people and very much look forward to going back again myself.

We celebrated our 10th year wedding anniversary. Quiet and secluded and relaxing and close to town . We loved it here we will be back next year. Also the decor in house was very amazing you will love the cute little signs and items they available.
