Amanda Park, Washington
Open concept cabin with Large deck and amazing view of Lake Quinault. Beautiful view of the north shore, south shore and an upper valley. Located on the shore of the lake at the mouth of the Lower Quinault River. Watch the fish jump, roll and feed in the water as the eagles soar and osprey search for a meals along with otters and ducks! Dare to catch a glimpse of the never the same morning sunrises! Convenient location to explore the Olympic National Park and Olympic Peninsula coastline. Working remotely Star Link Wifi (150 MBPS).
The view from the house is the best on Lake Quinault. The house was a bit tight for the 5 of us, but it was clean and served it’s purpose of a place to land and sleep in between adventures in the surrounding area. We saw lake otters swimming just in front of the house.
We enjoyed our stay here very much! Perfect location, very clean, and a spacious deck to enjoy. The kayaks on the property were a bonus!! The listing says 2 bedrooms, which is a bit of a stretch, as the 2nd bedroom is really an open loft with the 2 twin beds (seen in the listing’s pictures). Very low ceiling for someone over 5’6” - I did not inquire about this prior to our stay, so ‘bad on me.’ - I should have looked closer at the photos… It was just a bit tight for 3 adult couples. Would be a perfect place for a family with kids!
If you are looking at a stopping point while exploring Olympic NP or the Oregon coast, this is a great spot. It's situated right on the lake for beautiful views. 4 beds were nice, and the wifi and the A/C worked well. There are some good restaurants nearby as well as some hiking and other lake activities. I'd def recommend this place.
Great view, great stay, nice place.
Very clean, modern little house! Great lake view!
The cabin was easy to find and check in was smooth. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The lake was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets along with the fog settling over the trees and lake. It is also a quick drive to the Salmon House Restaurant and Lake Quinault lodge/restaurant and good location for other sights in the area. There is not much shopping available, so i would recommend you bring what you need. There are a few small mercantile shops by the lodge that carry basics otherwise it’s a drive to get other needed items. Not a big deal, just good to know. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!
Our family of four stayed for two nights at this cabin on the lake. The cabin was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The couch and table were nice, and the TV is well located so as not to be in the way or a focus, but easy to watch if you want. The cabin is located in a small neighborhood, and it was very quiet the entire time of our stay. You can walk down to the water, but it's not the easiest trek as you have to get down a raised wall. Easy for the kids, but probably a bit tougher if you weren't as spry. The views from the deck were great, and we saw a lot of water foul and birds. The cabin is located right between the entrance for the South Shore Drive and North Shore Drive. If you are looking for good food at decent prices with quick service, go to Dino's and forget the lodge at Quinault. We ate there both nights and we would have done so again if we stayed longer. The breakfast options in the area are slim, so I would suggest you either make/bring breakfast or allow for time. I would recommend this cabin for any other small families looking for a nice quiet stay with easy access to all of the hiking trails in the Quinault area. We even made a trip to Klaloch beach to check the tide pools, and it was only a 30 to 40 min drive each way.
We had a perfect time. Thank you Brenda and family for taking good care of us! We would love to come back.
Stayed for 2 nights during a weeklong trip around the Olympic Peninsula. Great spot, especially with the loop drive bridge out. Everything was as advertised and it worked out great.
Very nice home with beautiful deck views. Very clean throughout, well supplied kitchen, comfy bed. In need of closet space, dresser or some place to store or hang clothes.
This was the perfect place for our family (3 kids ages 3-10) while visiting Olympic National Park. The lake is amazing, the cabin is well stocked and looked brand new. Dino’s Pizza and the Internet Cafe had the nicest employees and good food & coffee.
This house was the perfect location for our family to access the Olympic National Park. Clean, super comfortable beds and cute! Thank you.
Great overall accommodations, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, great view. So easy to get to the property and near great hikes. Easy to get to the coast.
This house has a beautiful remodel job, who ever did the work knows what they are doing. The veiw of the lake is amazing and the location is nice. There are a couple good places to eat nearby and very quiet.
Very nice cabin and furnished with everything for a extended stay, excellent view. Highly recommended.
Our family of 4 (parents in their late 40's and two sons in early 20's) used this home as a getaway for some family time. We loved getting up and watching the sun rise over the mountains. Absolutely spectacular view. The accommodations were clean, newer, and comfortable. Even though the home isn't large square footage, we felt we had plenty of space. Nice to have the A/C! Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!
The recently updated cabin on the lake was very nice. Bring your own water toys and have a fun, relaxing time on the lake!
Enjoyed the porch overlooking lake. Close to wonderful hiking trails.
This property is worth it just for the unobstructed view of Lake Quinault. The cabin is very tiny and internet/wifi 95% unavailable. TV is streaming only. Everything in the cabin is new and very clean. propane gas cook top stove and full refrigerator. Large deck with chairs out back where you watch the eagles and ospry cruise over the lake. Always a quick response from owner.
We enjoyed staying at the Spruce Chalet while visiting Olympic National Park. It was in excellent shape and a perfect size for our family of four. Would definitely recommend!
Well equipped, brand new beach cottage on the shore of Lake Quinault. View from the home and deck was as stunning as it was relaxing. The only evening sounds we could hear were a couple of loons singing on the lake. Just 2 miles from the town of Quinault and some epic hiking. Beautiful location to unwind!
This place was small as advertised but laid out incredibly well. We are a family of 5 including 3 young adults and managed well. The house looks newly renovated and everything was new and clean. The deck view was amazing!!! The only thing that would have been been the cherry on the top is if it would have had a kayak or canoe. We would choose this place again if in the area. Thanks for your hospitality!
