Quaint Double Bluff Guesthouse near Useless Bay

A wonderful place in a beautiful location. It truly felt like home away from home. Excellent hosts!

Clean and quiet cabin. Convenient to mid and lower island. Very near Double Bluff park with nice beach and views. Nice place to stay.

Darling and clean little guest house. Nice host. would have given 5 stars if not for the little mouse that greeted my niece both nights she stayed there. Yikes!

We enjoyed the cute guesthouse in Freeland! It was nicely set up and had everything we needed for an excellent stay. The bed was comfortable. It was close to the beach. Would stay again!

Very comfortable bed, nice living area, good shower, ample linens. Kitchen well-stocked. Tastefully and simply decorated. Owners live close and are responsive to requests for assistance.A few concerns, which might not trouble other lodgers:•The coded front door lock was impossible for me to turn right--despite many tries. I resorted to using the provided key to unlock the door instead.•The small deck has badly peeling coating--i didnt want to use it.•Brighter bulbs/larger lamps in bedroom and living room would be appreciated. Only one bedside table and lamp--great for a single lodger, maybe not for a couple.•Refrigerator ran a lot and was super loud. Luckily, closing the bedroom door dampened the sound well.

Double Bluff Guesthouse was a great choice for our visit to Whidbey Island. It is a short walk to a wonderful beach (where dogs are welcome and can be off leash). We enjoyed a walk there every morning during our stay. Our hosts Abi and Paul were responsive and very welcoming. They left a nice card and dark chocolate candy bar on the table to welcome us. The place was super clean and quiet and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. We would choose to stay there again.

Quiet, has everything that you need, great location to beach. Easy in and out.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay in the Double Bluff Guesthouse! The hosts were easy to communicate with and the space was just what we had expected. The one downside to this location is that you will have to drive everywhere except the beach. But it is a quiet, cozy location worth visiting!

My husband and I were in this area for a beach wedding. This house was in a perfect location for an easy walk or quick drive to the beach. The house was small but had everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed to make a meal if needed. It was a short drive to coffee and restaurants. We definitely recommend this home.
