Privately situated amongst the peaceful trees, just a short walk to Lost Creek!

This cute little cabin was perfect for my son and I when we visited Seward. Cathy was very communicative leading up to our trip and Ramon was there to greet us when arrived, and showed us around the cabin. The photos are very accurate. Make note of the ladder leading up to the loft. It was fine for us, but for anyone with mobility issues it could be challenging and I might be a little nervous about having small children up there, but it was a great space for my teenage son. Literally anything we could have needed or asked for and then some was provided in the cabin. High marks for a hot shower with good water pressure, which we were most thankful for after a cold, rainy day our Kenai Fjords cruise! Deo's cabin was clean and homey and situated perfectly for excursions to Seward, Kenai National Park, and endless other beautiful spots. The kitchen was well equipped (including with fresh coffee and an assortment of teas), the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, and the craftsmanship and carpentry were impressive throughout. We loved the provided board games and books, and stayed off our screens for nearly all of our stay. There was also bear spray available for our use (and we left some more (unused) cans behind :)).The hosts were great; responsive and friendly but not intrusive. I would 100% recommend this property to friends and family; it was a superlative experience all around!

The house is charming, perfect for one couple and two singles. The kitchen had everything we needed. The setting was peaceful and the host was warm and accommodating.

Great location only 10 minutes outside of Seward. Fantastic hosts and comfortable cabin. We had a great family vacation and would certainly recommend staying at Deo’s cabin.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Deo’s cabin. It was perfect for three adults and one teen. Check in was very easy. The cabin is clean, beautiful and located in a quiet area. We enjoyed walking down to the nearby stream. It’s only a 5-7 minute drive to downtown Seward. Ramon and Cathy were wonderful, kind hosts. I would stay there again!

Pretty House and nice and very helpful hosts. Kitchen included all you could imagine and there even was a grill - perfect for making dinner. We were not prepared for the size of the house (very tiny) and had to move suitcases etc around a lot. Upstairs loft was great, master bedroom bed not so great, the bed was way too soft for our liking. Overall a nice stay and a place we will recommend to the rest of the family.

We enjoyed our stay, but note that the space is small. Not much floor space so was tricky for us to access our suitcases while still making use of the kitchen table. Our host was great and attentive to our needs. We did have an issue with the hot water staying hot, but host worked to try to remedy the issue.

We enjoyed our stay at Bear Creek. It was nice to sleep with the windows cracked open to hear the sounds of the creek and nature outside. The house is tiny, but the space is well utilized with everything our family of four needed and appeared to be newly renovated. It’s about a 10-minute drive to the shops, restaurants and marina of Seward. The host was very attentive.
