The views were magnificent, the cabin both spacious and cozy, the rooms clean and tastefully furnished and decorated, and the amenities plentiful. Check-in/out were effortless and Tim and Katie, the owners, were quick to respond. The bunk room was a treat for the 3 year old, and the on-premise pack-and-play and high chair essential for the 16 month old. We recommend this home without hesitation or reservation.

Very nice house with everything we needed, and the location was wonderful. The hosts were very accommodating and even have a book with information about all the local places to go.

The home has a great view of the mountains. The place has all the toys the gang will not be bored. If you want privacy the hot tub and sauna are quite secluded from any neighbors. The hosts were great to deal with as well.

Tim and Katie are exceptional hosts and make sure their guests have a wonderful and relaxing visit with their personal attention to every detail. We’ve now stayed at several other VRBO sites and this has been our favorite visit by far and we can’t wait for a return trip.

Had a fantastic stay at Sunny View as a family of 4 for a long weekend relax and reset trip away. We have rented many cabins through the years and this one is by far THE BEST stocked. I brought crates with extra garbage bags, paper towels, oil, spices, coffee, towels, all the things you never seem to have on site but need. They had everything already on site. This home has owners who understand families' basic needs while traveling. The amount of entertainment on site literally kept us home some days to relish the views, sunsets, fires, hot tub, corn hole, pool, table shuffleboard, games etc etc. The views never get old and my son and I loved spending time in the adorable barrel sauna over looking the valley. Memories made and many special thanks to Tim and Katie for being so accessible and helpful.

This property had a great location, a stunning western view of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia - and every possible amenity we could want for our stay.The location was 5 minutes away from Blairsville, GA yet very private.We particularly enjoyed the many wineries in the area - which weren't here 49 years ago when I was a college student working here for the summer of 1976.The host was extremely communicative - before, during and after our stay. That is a big deal!A word to the wise - I wasn't up to speed on liquor laws here, and we started our stay on a Sunday. The wineries were able to sell wine on location, but if you have a favorite beverage like beer, vodka or bourbon - you will be happy if you brought some with you...This was a terrific trip, and we'd come back here in a heartbeat when we get the fever to see this special place again.

We enjoyed our annual golf trip to the mountain’s at Tim’s cabin! The cabin is perfectly appointed for a group of friends or a family trip. We enjoyed the beautiful views, hot tub and game room area. We look forward to visiting again next year!

Sunny view certainly lived up to its name! Our family had an incredible time filled with amazing views and lots to do! We made some amazing memories and were really surprised at how convenient it was to town and all Blairsville has to offer. Here are a few sunsets we enjoyed. We would definitely recommend Sunny View cabin!

This review pertains to our family’s 3-night stay at Sunny View about a week ago. Pre-stay communication with Tim and Katie was warm, welcoming, thorough and accurate. The property was as described. Beautiful, spacious, great views. The whole house in general, and the kitchen in particular, was one of the best, if not the best provisioned property of this kind our little group has every encountered. And just another word about that: the kitchen knives were pretty darn sharp, a pleasant perk I have long given up on in such properties. There were games galore. Every bedroom was nicely done and had its own bathroom. Beds were comfy. We loved all the porch and deck space, a lot of which is well covered, not to mention a very inviting fire pit and a perfectly functioning hot tub. Furnishings and finishes were inviting and comfortable. One of the more spectacular highlights of this property is the barrel sauna, one end featuring a stunning view of the horizon. Tim and Katie offer a guidebook to the property and local attractions that is quite comprehensive. During our stay, Tim and Katie were responsive, attentive, and available without hovering. Recommended!

Took a trip to the mountains with a group that included adults and teens. This house was perfect. Plenty of beds for all of us and room to spread out. So much to do in the house to keep everyone entertained on rainy days and nights. The views were amazing! A short drive to Blue Ridge and also Vogel Park that has great hiking trails.

We had a great time with several old college buddies from around the southeast who met for a few days of golf, laughs and reminiscing. The house is perfect for cooking dinner and enjoying the beautiful mountain sunsets. We used the fire pit every night and the nice coffee maker each morning. The house was very clean and bathrooms were well stocked with shampoos, etc. The hosts were in touch before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the seclusion yet closeness to Blairsville. Definitely a place I would return to and recommend to others.

This rental supplied everything you need for a comfortable and fun stay. It has a beautiful view of the mountains right from your living room, window, balcony porch, fire pit, and hot tub. It is conveniently located to all the places we wanted to see, great hiking, and good restaurants and stores.Our entire family, young and old, thoroughly enjoyed their stay. This place was everything described and more. One thing that I always complain about is the lack of fun body mirrors and somewhere to rest my luggage. They covered that! Thank you for that!! I will be back as we only stayed for one night. We didn't use it to it's full potential but it was still everything we needed. For a rainy day in.

Everything was just lovely. Plenty to do. My only request would have been for instructions for the sauna. The only ones I found didn’t match what I saw so we didn’t get to use it.

The pictures doesn’t do it justice it’s a lot nicer in person!! It’s beautifully decorated and clean! The hot tub and game room was wonderful. The owners were very much on the ball with anything we asked about. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone!

Wonderful romantic weekend getaway at this beautifully maintained cabin on the mountain. We enjoyed the spacious bedroom, downstairs game room, and fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space on the bathroom vanity which I loved. The beautiful view of the mountains in the distance was just as promised. Very close to the downtown area with restaurants and shopping which was nice. The owners are very responsive and super helpful. Our tips for a great stay: If arriving for a weekend getaway, note that some of the local shops and restaurants are closed on Sunday, Monday, and/or Tuesday. However, shopping and dining in nearby Helen is a great alternative. If you enjoy a glass of wine on the weekend, make sure to get it before Sunday. There are no alcohol sales in stores on Sundays. Final tip, our GPS was a little quirky finding the street. I'd try to arrive before nightfall to better see street signs and parking when navigating up the mountain.

The communication and support from owners was great. Nice views from back deck. Bedrooms all great except 4th bedroom bunk space was tight. Good amenities. Hot tub and fire pit area great along with beds and seating areas. Was clean except floors were not swept well. Overall great stay liked blairsville and Helen area was great!
